Re: Apogee Duet iOS 9.2 compatibility
glad it worked out for you, but at the same time a bit worried why you were having trouble. I can only assume it had something to do with sampling rate, or more precisely, changing sampling rates often. Some time ago I made some tests with 96 kHz on iPad and hackintosh, which never exposed any probl...

I guess it is rather an USB/interface problem.

Re: How do we make Audio follow tempo changes?
well that's a bit complicated. Some desktop DAW's have a feature that analyses an audio file and derives tempo and tempo changes from it. But it includes manual work to be precise. I'm not sure if this is a very important feature for an iOS DAW, but why not?

that's a bit strange. But this $30 cable will make things easier because you can keep the iPad charged while working with the interface.

Re: Apogee Duet iOS 9.2 compatibility
could be a sampling rate issue. I keep my Duet 2 at 44.1 kHz mostly.
I would try recording a mono or a stereo file with Apogee MetaRecorder. And also check the firmware with Maestro.

Re: Apogee Duet iOS 9.2 compatibility
the Apogee Duet 2 for iPad has always worked perfectly fine for me. Its functionality does not depend on the iOS version. Sorry to hear you're having problems. Is it the same device we are talking about? Do you have the Maestro app installed and working? Does Maestro recognise the device? Do you hav...

no problems here. A very reliable interface for iPad and iPhone.

Re: Apogee Duet question
very strange. In that case I'm sorry that I can't help you anymore because I don't have a Circlon sequencer to try it out myself. The only thing I can advise is to consult Circlon developers. There must be something wrong.

Re: Apogee Duet question
does the Circlon sequencer send MTC (MIDI Time Code)? Or is it MIDI clock?
Either way, this shouldn't be a problem with the right settings.

Re: Apogee Duet question
my guess is that it will work.
I was surprised that Auria locks to MTC even over wifi. It takes one or two seconds, but then it locks perfectly.

Re: ReTune
surprised to read that. A time ago, as ReTune was a standard Auria plugin (not an IAP), I used ReTune for vocal pitch shifting (with dry 0% wet 100% by the way). It sounded good, it produced that typical -5 semitone deep voice effect in real-time perfectly. Just mentioning that. It used to work fine...

Re: Any reason to buy Final Touch if you already have Auria?
Maybe it's a no brainer at the price Final Touch is at now but I wonder if I can't just do the same to equal end in Auria. I was asking myself the same question, and after a closer look I decided against FinalTouch. But this app may be useful for some applications, for example if you have mixed sev...

Re: Monitor speakers connected to headphonejack ipad
no I think it's a good idea to get some monitors. What most musicians use with monitors is at least a small mixer. With that you can put some gain to the iPad signal, and have proper symmetrical connections to the monitors, and overall less problems.

Re: Q for Duet and Auria users...
I think all you need is the right settings in Auria's input/output matrix. And also the right settings in Maestro (3-4 output, not mixer output).
