Re: My 2 cents.....
There's a lot of room in the editor window. This is not an issue at all, since all the tracks are re-sizable. The problem is there's no room in the mixer window. Rim The current menu bar(s) contain redundancies, without which there would be a little more room for other stuff. For example, there's n...

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Rim. Something tells me you must be very, very busy right now

Re: Metronome count in bug and latency problem!!
Auria is not compatible with iOS5 when using Audiobus, and may have latency and other issues. I've been following this forum for months but I'd not realised the above was WaveMachine's official position on Audiobus and iOS6. Perhaps I wasn't paying sufficient attention. Maybe there should be a stic...

Re: Issues with Count-in and Metronome while tracking.
a few option in the settings maybe necessary, but I would think just copying the way that most other DAWS behave should work just fine. I'm willing to defer to your greater experience and knowledge of DAW 'standards' but I really didn't think there was any harm in asking Rim to consider a few harml...

Re: Issues with Count-in and Metronome while tracking.
wouldn't it become mind bogglingly confusing if the count-in didn't introduce the beginning of a bar? Otherwise I'll have to continually check that the playhead is exactly on the 1st beat of a bar before recording. Quite the opposite! As things stand, you do have to continually check that the playh...

Re: Issues with Count-in and Metronome while tracking.
While on the subject, I was surprised that count-in applies only to Record and not also to plain Playback. Not sure what the point of count-in during playback would be. No other DAW's I've used have it. It would mean continually having to turn count-in on and off as people would want it on record b...

Re: Issues with Count-in and Metronome while tracking.
OK. I just didn't want to waste my time detailing something you're already aware of  There appears to be an issue when using 'Count-in' whereby recorded tracks are out of sync with existing tracks. I noticed this when I bounced down a track while count-in was active. The resulting track appear...

Issues with Count-in and Metronome while tracking.
@Rim:
Are you aware of bugs related to both Count-in and Metronome while recording? I've seen nothing reported so far in forum (surprisingly) but that doesn't mean your beta testers haven't alerted you already.
If not, I'll endeavour to document details of the issues I've encountered.

Re: Is there a way to go back to an earlier version of Auria
I can (partly) replicate what you're experiencing, Keith, in that the Master meter does appear to be inactive when monitoring inputs. However, as long as Menu > Settings > Record Monitor is set to 'On', I do hear the input signal via the iPad's headphone jack. I must admit that I've not yet tested t...

May I re-raise the issue of Auria not being an "Open In..." app for such input files, please Rim?

Would it be possible to have a pop-up, showing the AB source, when tapping on the matrix numerals?Rim wrote:There's no way to know which inputs are from which audio apps in the input matrix when using Audiobus. We simply don't have room for the names

Re: Sub volume brought all the way down not killing sound
I'm not certain but I suspect it depends on your settings (Menu > Settings) for Aux1 and Aux2. The choice is pre- or post- fader.
