Re: Latency issues in new update!!!???

Experiencing serious latency here as well. Same setup with duet. New project, No plugins used, recorded guitar track, made overdub, tracks are way off. Sometimes they line up other times they don't. I've worked on 3 different projects since the update and there's no apparent rhyme or reason when the...

Re: Audio Interface advice please.....

I have Apogee One, the old model. Works without any problems. Usb-hub needed though. But I use a portable battery to run it. Garage Band is needed for input switching as Maestro doesn't support it. Having some issues connecting a duet, mpk25 & FaderPort into a Belkin powered USB hub, then USB t...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works

Had some issues with the duet and a powered hub (Belkin). The duet turned on and off, would not work consistently. Followed steps outlined by previous poster (hub into ipad via USB to lightening adapter, duet, mpk25 & FaderPort into hub). Was using external power with all devices. Will experimen...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works

Will pick one up today, I appreciate the info and will report back. One question though, I picked up a USB to thunderbolt adapter and when I tried to hook the FaderPort and the mpk25 directly to the ipad individually (no duet) it said device requires too much power, cannot be used, despite having a ...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works

So far I have only used the FaderPort to record/mix, I would like to also hook up my mpk25 for sequencing drums and recording synths. I am not sure how to best accomplish this. I am running the FaderPort into a Duet and am wondering if I can use a USB hub and get them both in through the duet. This ...

Re: Confirmed, FaderPort Works

It controls faders, pan, full transport function (even arms tracks), punch, loop all work. Mute, solo, switches from mix to edit window. Haven't tried with plugins yet, will report back.

Re: Best drum app for use with Drumagog

Moved this from the wishlist thread. Not necessarily related to op completely but drum related. I'm also looking for a drum solution. I think the karma of all the drummer jokes I've ever made has come to haunt me. It's the one part of my recording that's lacking, the weak link. I've bought quite a ...

Re: Auria's Midi Controllers.

For those looking into the faderport: An excerpt from SOS The Faderport is compatible with all the commonly available DAWs for Mac OS X and Windows XP. It should be noted, though, that functionality is limited in some cases, depending on how the sequencer's own external control system works. Faderpo...

Re: Best drum app for use with Drumagog

Stay with Dm1, it's so easy. I've drumagogged a bunch of tracks from dm1 and it all works so smoothly. Beatmaker 2 has individual track export but it's not easy to put the different drum parts on different tracks. I've had the exports be buggy, too, but never with dm1. I like the DM1 but find the i...

Re: Auria's Midi Controllers.

I picked up a Presonus FaderPort and an Akai MPK25, this is my first foray into MIDI, hoping it works!
I do mostly guitar oriented stuff, but I'm looking forward to having some fun with Magellan and various drum programs.

Re: Audio Interface advice please.....

Extremely satisfied Duet 2 user here, can't recommend it enough. Pricey but top notch. Just a note, to my knowledge, the apogee one does not have the Same converters as the duet. From my research: Duet 2 has the same electronics, mic pre amps and a/d/a converters as the Ensemble. Also confirmed this...
