Re: Help/Warning IOS 7.1 with Duo Capture!!!
Once I think I read in the manual that the switch on the back should be on one of the three options to work with IPAD. Though I think I also read once that it didn't matter. If so, can that have changed with 7.1? Try the switch.

Re: Apogee One
I use it all the time. Works fine with a powered hub. Needs Garage Band for switching input. It looks like GB has some kind of dedicated control meny for the original One. If e.g. 48v mic is set, this setting vill be kept until changed. Garageband is only needed when switching and doesn't need to be...

Re: Plugin Recommendations
...Well there are limiter and compressor within the basic Auria plugin collection. So from that I ranked the de-esser highest amongst the add on plugs. I use the de-esser for what it is intended for: geting rid of some sharp s-sounds that othervice would be hard to target either by eq, compressor, o...

Re: Plugin Recommendations
Pro-DS is the one plug I wouldn't be without. Just wondering if the new multiband compressor can do the same thing?

Thank's for all your comments. Since English is not my native language I also learnt some words from your comments...had to look them up: "strident", "enigmatic" and "temerity". As I don't want to be the one to transport myself to the top of the posts I stay away from a...

Re: Ipad air vs Ipad mini retina?
I played around in ims20 and Garageband on a mini at a friends place. It felt a bit too small. I guess the regular size, or larger, suits me better. Though, if I was on the move the portability of the mini would put it in a better position. (Multitrack DAW has enlargement of dials that are good on s...

I read a while ago on the Multitrack DAW forum that the Blackjack was used with the app.

Re: Line6 or Apogee Jam? Recommendations?
There are several small 24-bit capable devices. Besides the mentioned ones there is one from IK Multimedia that provides guitar input or phantom powered mic input, and MIDI input. But no headphone output. No stereo-ins. The reason I mention this is that most small devices seem to aim at different ta...

Ipad 3 with IOS6. Update to IOS7?
Ipad 3, not yet infected by IOS7.
To update or not to update, that's the question.
Direct export from GarageBand is a driver.

...I have all the above mentioned plugs. But on the song track DS is the one I'd choose if I have to pick only one.

Re: What's the best add-Ons for recording vocals?
The top of my list is Fabfilter Pro-DS. A deesser to remove some of those sss-sounds while singing. Saves some time compared with decreasing the s-sounds manually.
