Re: Issue with Auria and Audiobus
Have you tried changing the record latency adjustment? What would happen if you changed that number to 256? I know it doesn't sound logical, since it's early, but I'd be interested to see. I do know that audiobus seems to have developed some issues with ios8 from what I read. What interface are you ...

Re: So long, Alchemy. We barely knew ya.
I don't think the issue is that software moves on, as that is a given. The immediate issue is that there is no way to get what you purchased currently if it wasn't already downloaded, which is not the way the App Store was reported to work. Alchemy was not a go to synth for me, so it's not incredibl...

Re: Major Auria Announcement
What DAW do you use that only exports stereo? Mixing in stereo is not the same as using stereo tracks- especially since on auria, if I am correct, the pan knob on a stereo track acts as a balance control. You can "stereo pan" to a degree by using the delay and changing the stereo width, no...

100% in agreement on that point.claudel wrote:True, but that is a minor point compared to an annoying tendency to leave some products semi finished while embarking on marketing campaigns for new products.

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?
I like to use the plugin JamUp because it's simple to run a second track with the uneffected signal. I like to do that to have a track of the plain "performance" which often can come in handy. It seems to be difficult to split the signal before the standalone JamUp. I wrote this before I ...

Vu meter. I believe the meters can show average level as an option, but I know you mean the visual as well.

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?
The effects are very good in jamup, despite what I said I love the app and use it constantly. The fact that it caters to bassists as well is a huge plus for me (the ebs octave pedal simulation and the brassmaster sim are fantastic)

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?
I beta tested final touch but I have to say now it's a pretty big letdown and I never use it. Bias is great, but the bias desktop seems to have their full attention. @mrufino, I couldn't agree more. On Positive Grid's Facebook page (which seems to be the avenue they use for communication and announ...

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?
Correct. And I agree about their marketing. I beta tested final touch but I have to say now it's a pretty big letdown and I never use it. Bias is great, but the bias desktop seems to have their full attention. Still, jamup is the best ampsim for bassists right now (and even more so with bias integra...

Re: Mac DAW to compliment Auria
Reaper. Great to track into if you're recording live shows, etc and you have a multichannel interface for Mac (or PC), then very easy to export to auria if you want to mix there.

Re: That's surprsing. AKG v iTrack Solo headphones
I just got rid of my 240mkii headphones. I just couldn't get used to them, even almost a year later. I know my 7506's are far from flat but I've had them since 2004 and know them too well. I had the original 240's for 1 weekend but returned them to get the 7506's, the 240 made me dizzy. I'd like to ...

Also, a new track will automatically be created when you insert an app in audiobus.

Re: Ram memory saving techniques?
You can try bouncing the tracks the have drumagog on them then eliminating drumagog. When I've bounced rather than frozen it seems to have freed up ram as well as processor. That may require a restart of auria after the bounce.
