Re: Major Auria Announcement
I don't think we'll be seeing Auria Pro in spring then, hopefully summer though...Rim wrote:I haven't started on the sampler GUI yet.
It's OK, I can wait. Software takes time.

Re: Auria compatable drum apps
The easiest way to get individual tracks from Drumperfect into Auria is to use IAA, with each track set to a different instrument in Drumperfect. It works really well, but then is just one thing that might catch you out: as well as the IAA inserts for the individual tracks, you will need to have one...

Re: Playhead jumping ahead when recording
That's not what's happening here - if you watch the video I posted in the OP you will see what happened in this case: the playhead jumps ahead, and the further you are in the timeline the further ahead it jumps.Rim wrote:It would cause the playhead to jump to the position it was last stopped.

Re: Playhead jumping ahead when recording
It's not enabled - but would that cause the playhead to jump ahead like it does in the video?Rim wrote:It sounds like maybe this is the Auto Return functionality. Do you have that enabled in the transport settings page?

Re: Major Auria Announcement
In either case you'd be able to retain your plugins. In your second case, Auria Pro will detect that you Auria installed, and unlock the same plugins, so they're available in both versions. Rim That's good to know - thanks. Personally I would prefer to buy the new version rather than upgrade the ol...

Re: Playhead jumping ahead when recording
The problem seems to be somehow related to this project - it's a bug I'm sure.

Thanks for posting that Matt, I might take the plunge on that percussion pack then.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Hey Bob, I'm far from being an expert, but here's my take on those questions: delay and reverb are closely related, but one reason to use delay rather than reverb is that it can thicken a vocal without muddying the sound. Also sometimes you can use more obvious delays, like slapback delays, for crea...

Re: Gog files and iFunbox restrictions in iOS 8.3
It's always risky to write a program that takes advantage of a buggy feature or workaround because devs know that the feature can become useless when the buggy feature is fixed by an OS update. Just like this time. I agree, which is why I think the ideal solution for this particular problem (gog fi...

Re: Gog files and iFunbox restrictions in iOS 8.3
Thanks, but this won't help with Drumagog files. Rim, do you think you could offer some extra Gog files via IAP? I don't mind paying for them, I have really come to rely on Drumagog, and it's nice to have a decent selection of sounds. Currently I use the ones that come with the desktop Drumagog, whi...

Playhead jumping ahead when recording
Following the thread I made in the general section I am filing a bug report on this issue. To see exactly what happens, download this video But basically when I hit record in this project the playhead skips ahead by a number of bars. The further into the song I am, the further ahead the playhead ski...

Re: Gog files and iFunbox restrictions in iOS 8.3
So is there any way to add drumagog files to Auria in 8.3?
If the answer is no then maybe you could offer some as in-app purchases. Personally I think this move on Apple's part is really bad news for iOS music, there are so many apps affected by this.

Gog files and iFunbox restrictions in iOS 8.3
Now that Apple seem to have completely locked down the file system in iOS 8.3, will it still be possible to add drumagog files to Auria outside of the in-app purchases? I have added my desktop drumagog files to Auria using iFunbox, and I am considering buying the percussion add-ons from the WML site...

Re: Cursor jumping to different part of song when recording
Ok, I will create a new thread in the bug reports section, and I will make a video showing the behaviour and also upload a version of the project that is as stripped down as possible while still showing the behaviour.
