I completely understand your frustration. This is an issue with all iPad apps. Manufacturers just need to make their devices class compliant. If an interface works on an iPad, it'll work in Auria. Hopefully more interface companies will step up to the plate soon.

If you want to record in mono, you need to have a mono track. Just go to the menu, select Add Track, then choose Mono. Now you should be able to select only input 1 or 2 on that track in the input matrix.

Auria is an audio only app. MIDI is something that will be added in a future version, but at this point, it's only for recording audio.

There's currently no way to duplicate a track in Auria. You can add a new track, but you'd need to add the same plug-ins as the track you want to duplicate. It's something we may add in a future version, though.

Are you using the latest version of Auria (v1.02)? We fixed an issue that caused some meters to show incorrectly.
