Re: Ipad 2 on IOS6 > Should I upgrade to IOS7?
When I read that iOS 7.0.6 was released, I thought that maybe the bugs surrounding audio (e.g., IAA) would be fixed...but nøpe, it's pretty much an SSL-related security fix. (Lóòks like Apple has to deal with more of the same issues as M$, as iDevices and Macs, having become quite ubiquitous over th...

Re: Very low output volume from Auria
I had the same low output issue on my iPad 2...and, unfortunately, the issue still persists on my iPad 4, even with its volume set to max. No effects patched in...I'm still on iOS 6.1.3, though I seriously doubt that "upgrading" to iOS 7.0.6 will resolve the issue. Adding MicroWarmer on th...

Re: Output matrix
I remember a user having an issue with his PC DAW (SAWStudio) and his RME interface: It turned out to be his TotalMix configuration. The solution was to make sure that he was using TotalMix' first (default) configuration, where, I believe, there was a one-to-one relationship between the inputs and o...

Re: Auria wont detect an interface through usb hub
It is possible that the gentleman using the "ebay special" or similar USB/30-pin hub has a jailbroken iPad. Assuming that your iPad 3 is not jailbroken (my iPad 4 and iPad 2 aren't), you would be well-advised to stick with the genuine Apple CCK and a quality USB hub. Also, I don't see an A...

Re: Auria wont detect an interface through usb hub
At first glance, it appears that the root cause of your issue is the "this accessory is not supported by ipad" error message...the accessory being the non-genuine "camera connection kit." So, for starters, do yourself a favor and plunk down the 30 or so buck$ and get a genuine Ap...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Assuming that simultaneous playback of overlapping regions is possible in Auria (as long as it doesn't hurt performance or take too much memory [my "mantra," lõl]), it would probably make the most sense to present it as an option...the default being Off ...in the event that real·time punch...

Re: Virtual Tracks for multi-takes
G'day Rim, I used to use a Boss BR900CD until my iPad and Auria came along. Something that I found really handy on the BR900CD was that each of its 8 tracks had 8 virtual tracks (v1 to v8) which you could use to do multiple takes of the same instrument and you could choose the best of these multipl...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Gøød call, ajmack! So the updated sequence would be: 1. Create a region from your loop·file at Bar 1 on Track 1. 2. Copy/paste the region to Bar 5 on Track 2. 3. Upon playback, as the end of the loop on Track 1 is reached, the loop on Track 2 begins playing. You can now automate the fade·out of the ...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
As a workaround, you might consider using two tracks. Assuming a 4-bar loop: Create a region at Bar 1 on Track 1. Copy/paste the region to Bar 5 on Track 2. Upon playback, as the end of the loop on Track 1 is reached, the loop on Track 2 begins playing. You can now automate the fade of the region on...

Re: Having Auria Open to a blank project?
That's GR8, Rim!!! I certainly failed to notice that...and, yép, there it is, right there in the manual on page 32.
Thanks so much...makes it even easier. Glad I posted!
Best regards,
Mike

Re: Having Auria Open to a blank project?
Using a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 (with four analog Inputs/Outputs) on an iPad 4, I have specific Ins and Outs config'd in my "Live" Auria project. The issue for me was when I opened Auria at home while not connected to the interface: Since the "Live" project was the last one opened...

Re: Focusrite audio interfaces
@Katherine Kaplan, I had suggested via email and phone that Focusrite release an iOS version of the Mix Control software. This app need not be as elaborate as the PC version...all that would be required is to save a selected mapping to hardware; therefore, the app's footprint would be quite small. (...
