Re: Multitrack drums

+1 for The Loop Loft. They run A LOT of sales.

There’s also a very good iOS drum app called DrumSession.

Re: Slow down audio

Your help is very much appreciated. I didn’t want to spend the extra money on AUM and got some info over at AudioBus Forum about an app called AudioStretch. Incredibly easy, does exactly what I needed and only a $10 app. Thank you, again.

Re: Slow down audio

The only way I know to do a traditional slowdown (where both the pitch and the tempo change) is with Lyra, but that isn't going to work on a 10 minute track. The easiest way to do this would be in AUM: set the tempo of your original track, create a new track, set it to File Player, and load your tr...

Re: Recording Amplitube into Auria....

+1 for AudioBus. The only issues might be latency (hasn’t been a problem for me) and you can’t re-amp because the audio is baked in (not a problem for me either).

Re: First edition apogee jam

I have the original with an Apple 30 pin to lightening adapter. Never given me any trouble, and still going strong after 6 or 7 years. iPad Air 2, latest iOS. Recorded an album with it.

Re: request - template for a first take audio w/guitar

Sorry, but more details about what you’re trying to achieve would help.

Are you recording acoustic guitar and vocals at the same time?

What mic(s) do you have?

What kind of interface are you using?

Re: Drum machine?

I’m from the “Drum Perfect is too complicated” camp, but it really is unmatched in terms of control and realism for acoustic drums. I like Drum Sessiom a lot, but I don’t like Rock Drum Machine because the fills sound unrealistic. The drummers in GarageBand are useful too, and it’s free.

Re: Managing Auria Store In-App Purchases

When I open the Auria store, the first page lists all the different categories (plugins, IR files, add-ons, etc.). If I tap on plugins, I’m taken to the next page, which has the plugins and the prices. If I tap on one of those, I’m taken to another page, which describes the plugin. If I’ve already p...

Re: Anyone know a good LA2A emulation for Auria?

I finally had a chance to play around with the chain Anthony suggested above, and I really dig it. It’s a little less aggressive than my normal chain and sounds really good. Lots of interesting tweaks can be made with each insert. Lots of fun and lots of possibilities. Thanks again, Anthony.

Re: Drum apps that work with auria pro?

I've used Drum Session and like it a lot. It comes packed with loops for various styles. Each pattern is totally tweakable, if you wish to modify it. You can save patterns, fills, etc. as songs. It will export individual tracks to Auria, to which you can add effects, replace using Drumagog, etc. It ...

Anyone know a good LA2A emulation for Auria?

I really like Fxpansion's Chan Comp for 1176 type sounds and see that Rough Rider can also get close to 1176, but iOS seems to be missing anything like an LA2A. I've read elsewhere that Pro-C2 can get very close, but I haven't much luck with it getting close enough. Anyone know of anything, have a t...

Please add the iOS Sound copy extension

Hi, Rim, I saw this over on the MultiTrack DAW forum. iOS sound copy extension allows copying/sharing of .wav files of 16, 24, 44, 48, 82.2, and 96. It doesn't clutter the pasteboard, and there's no need for another app. There are several well known apps with it that I know of, including MTDAW, and ...
