Re: Metronome page

You can find the updated Metronome information on page 116 of the current User Guide in the "Time and Tempo Settings" section.

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!

@Matt W: Btw, I just changed my email I used when registering on the forum to my gmail adress. The old hotmail one was a spam magnet, so if you sent the mail to that one it might have dissapeared in the spam swamp on that hotmail. Chris is sending out the links, and he will just reply to whichever ...

Yes, we did, and Chris should be sending out some download links right away.

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!

Also wanted to point out something important pitzipado said, that the price shown in the confirmation pop-up when buying an IAP is always based on the real, live price in the app store - while the info in the descriptions may sometimes lag.

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!

One important note: we believe that the sale pricing changes relative to your local timezone, and this sale is set to end at the end of Friday the 6th. So, when your local time hits midnight, Saturday morning, the pricing should go back to normal. I'd recommend not waiting til the last minute, thoug...

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!

Double-check the price in the store, sometimes things get cached and don't update. Try closing and re-opening the app and see if the 50% off is there.

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!

Contact Apple right away and get that purchase refunded, the store is still in the process of being updated right now so the IAP price changes haven't propagated across all of Apple's servers yet. Then give it a few hours to be safe. And yes, the confirm box will show the actual price, so if it look...

And, if anyone still doesn't receive the download link after filling out the form from the link at the top of the thread, email us at the support address and we'll send it to you manually.

Re: Auria forum in TapaTalk?

We're taking a look at it, there are some requirements in terms of forum software so I'd need to take a look at what they support before knowing if it was a possibility. I'll check back in here after researching it a bit.

Re: Midi sync with Cubasis

Locking up a MIDI sequencer to Auria will work using MIDI Clock in most cases (we're finding all sorts of apps whose MIDI clock sync is not exactly reliable, or who incorrectly calculate SPP), as long as Auria is always the Master.

Re: Midi sync with Cubasis

Unfortunately there is no way to sync Auria and Cubasis, at least currently. Cubasis only supports sending MIDI clock, which is too low resolution for audio apps to sync with, and can't follow any external sync. Auria can sync to MIDI Time Code (which is much higher resolution than beat clock), but ...

Re: Song Position Pointer Question

I've just had a look, and BeatMaker seems to be off by a factor of 4 when calculating beats/measures from SPP. And I also tried it with Cubasis feeding BeatMaker and it was off the exact same amount, so it looks like a bug in BeatMaker 2.

Re: EQ, old school vs. new school.

I've always thought of EQ in two different functions, "musical" EQ vs "surgical" EQ, and each has its place. A musical EQ tends to have pre-set frequency ranges, a la the API 550A or Trident A-Range EQ section. Here the manufacturers have pre-selected certain frequency bands for ...

Re: Song Position Pointer Question

Hi, thanks for the heads-up, we'll take a look at this right away. One question: what time signatures are you using in the two apps? As having those set differently can cause the issue you're seeing (i.e. 4/4 selected in BM2 and 3/4 selected in Auria, etc).

Re: Auria User guide pages missing

When reading a PDF online, especially a larger one like the Auria User Guide, it's generally recommended to save the PDF locally first instead of reading it through a browser. It sounds like you ran into a slow/stalled download, so if you try it again and click the "Download" (or "Sav...
