Re: Auria 48khz recording problem
When I reported this issue a while back it was said to be due to the duocapture ex's lack of support for 48k and up on iOS devices. When the switch on the back is in the TAB(tablet) position it's running at 44.1k.

Quality of Internet connection seems to play a part in this.

Re: What is IR plugins?
IR refers to an Impulse Response file which is used in the convolution reverb plugin. I'll let Wikipedia explain - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convolution_reverb

Re: How To Simulate Everyday Situations?
Old radio sound is probably just eq to take out the top and bottom end, maybe some subtle distortion too? Rooms and spaces can be simulated with the convolution reverb and echo.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
A bit of volume automation on the tracks around that point might work. Or you could set another compressor/limiter at a higher threshold only triggered by that really loud bit and use a very high compression ratio to really crush it. Hi folks, Quick question. I have a rock track that has a relativel...

Re: Volume automation without fader?
Do you mean that you don't want to lose the ability to make adjustments with the fader once you have automated the volume on the track?

Re: Is there a dropbox export issue?
Do you get any folders created in Dropbox? Have you tried uploading a really small file? We've had a lot of trouble uploading ~ 100mb projects. Sometimes it takes 6 goes.

Re: Select multiple automation points?
I'd love a 'Make automation point be 0db' button. It would reduce the swearing in my house considerably during mixes

Re: Can I export to multiple WAV files?
The Audioshare app may(or not) be useful for you for this task. It integrates with Auria and allows you to export regions to the app where they can be renamed, converted to a different file type, emailed, drop boxed etc.

Re: Some nice convolution reverb impulse files...
M-s does mean mono to stereo in this case, no one is doubting that. As I understand it, it refers to the stereo impulse being generated from a single(mono) point source impulse in the middle of the room. The recording of the reverb generated by that impulse though is of course stereo to generate a r...

Re: Some nice convolution reverb impulse files...
The m-s impulse is a stereo impulse recorded from an impulse generated from the middle of the room, while the L and R true stereo impulses each are stereo impulses recorded from sounds generated from the left and right sides of the room respectively. Those true stereo impulses are for use in an Conv...

Re: Some nice convolution reverb impulse files...
I should add that a "true stereo" IR file is actually four channel, whereas the mono to stereo IR's are just two channel.

Re: Some nice convolution reverb impulse files...
99% sure that you just use the mono-stereo file as per normal, and it will process it as per scenario 1 in that link. The Auria conv reverb can't do true stereo as I understand it.

Re: Some nice convolution reverb impulse files...
This explanation comes from a different convolution reverb plugin, but explains the different types of stereo conv reverb http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_reverberate_true_stereo.htm My guess is that if you insert a conv reverb on a stereo buss it will be parallel stereo reverb. I might be wrong...

Could you just delete the IR files/folder using iFunbox ?
