With the 18i20 you would need a USB powered hub if you were going to get a wired MIDI keyboard. It's as easy as plugging the keyboard into the hub and it should be automatically recognized by Auria Pro and ready to use. One thing you can try is to get the newer Apple USB3 CCK (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK0W ... ra-adapter)
You should then be able to get rid of the USB Powered hub and instead plug the extra lightning cable into the CCK and USB wall outlet.

Do you still have a 'Sampler Instruments' folder in the Auria Pro documents folder?
If so, are there any folders/files in the Sampler Instruments folder?

Inside your Auria Documents folder there is a folder named 'Sampler Instruments'. You can drop any SF2, EXS or SFZ file into this folder. Line6 doesn't specifically mention iOS compatibility but if the USB driver is class compliant then it should work with iOS and Auria.
You may want to shoot Line6 a quick email just to check before you buy. Their testing team has Auria Pro so they should be able to tell you for sure if it works well.

IAA are the apps in 'blue'. Make sure you delete any IAA plugins from your project and then close Auria. Close all other apps on your iPad. Perform a hard restart of your iPad and that should clear the RAM and make sure that the IAA apps are closed for good now.

Record arm your MIDI track in order to hear your input signal. That should do it.

In your current installed version of Auria, go into the Auria Store (menu> Auria Store) and tap on 'Restore Purchases' in the upper right. This will get you back to Auria Pro as well as restore an plugins, IR files or Loop packs you may have purchased.

You want to get a keyboard that is compatible with the HUI protocol. So, the Novation LaunchKey and Arturia Keylab are both good choices at great prices.
