Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

Here's a pic of an 80bpm sample from DM1 in an 80bpm Auria session. https://www.dropbox.com/s/o5pwp9a8ctzav ... 3%2057.png

Just to clarify, metronome runs in time with sample.

I hope I'm missing something really obvious!

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

Many thanks. First answer, I will try ASAP. Second answer, using straight 4/4...just experimentIng, as new to the application. Maybe I should just do a re-start :)

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

Rookie question 2: am setting Auria tempo in 'settings', then pasting audio from other apps at the same tempo. The Auria metronome clicks in time with the pasted regions but they don't sit within the visual bar measurements (?). Is this a copy / paste bit rate issue?

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS

Rookie question: When using Retune (or any other aux send effect), how can I get a fully 'wet' signal and not have any of the original sound?

Re: Great Drum loops for use in Auria

Drumbeats+ is also good. Similar to HD but all loops are playable at 5bpm increments from 70 to 190bpm. Would be great to have a sliding scale but it's still pretty versatile and drums sound good too.

Re: Bit rate

Great, thanks. Will do some more exploring. I could work with two inputs but four would save a lot of plugging and unplugging. The search continues! :)

Re: Bit rate

Many thanks :)

Well, if you have been able to record 24 bit audio then it must work. My current (falling apart) setup is only 16 bit and I would like to improve on that, so I think the io dock is going back.

If I can find the article I was reading I'll post a link.

Bit rate

Hi. I have read that the Alesis Io Dock only supports 16 bit input. Also that the Apple camera connection lead also only supports 16 bit. Does anyone know if this is the case? And, if so, is there any way to utilise Auria's 24 bit capability?

Many thanks.

Re: New iPad

Many thanks. Will be fascinating to see how this all develops with future updates and more capable machines.
