Re: What's better than DM1 ?
You might be better off waiting for that app. or loading your own drum samples on dm-1, and manually programmingeach hit. Or use dramagog. Or make do with drum jam.

Re: IR Files
Ir's or impulse responses are like thumb prints of certain spaces or equipment which you can apply to your own audio files. Convolution reverbs use IR's of real spaces (halls, churches, renowned studios, etc.) and apply these IR's on your own files so that it sounds like you actually captured the si...

Re: Audiocopy/paste problem
Im sorry to hear this. Here's a workaround: mixdown. Try to mixdown the track, and then import it into your other project.

Jamup keeps crashing :(
As the title says, JU keeps crashing everytime i load it. Reinstalling JU didnt fix it. Does that mean i gotta reinstall auria again? Wish auria can keep session files even if u delete the main app so reinstalling isnt too hard.

Re: Better drum apps?
Definitely drum jam! I just discovered it this morning, and it uses multisampling to achieve different velocities, but only one sample per velocity. Still, So. Very. Awesome. I can play drum jam per part and record the midi notes in cubase until i have a proper grove, export each separate track into ...

Praying for MIDI in auria
Oh please oh please oh please have midi (with scale on keys and piano roll) in Auria on the next update... Bought cubasis last night. Lots of things to love about it too, but my heart belongs to auria because i can make things sound good on here. I wish auria could have a genome style split screen k...

In love with auria
So i finally took the time to discover auria. So far there are a lot of amazing synths out there, but the drum instrument department is kinda lacking. So i fugured the only way around this predicament is to create grooves and process heavily in auria. Here's about 25 mins of noodling in Dm-1 and Aur...

Re: Auria vs Auria LE?
The mastering chain is made up of several processors: stereo widener, multiband comp, eq, maximizer, harmonics, reverb, etc. as of the moment you can only slap on an eq, reverb, limiter, and maybe the psp warmer on the master bus. But available in the appstore is Audio Mastering which comes up as an...

Re: Import loops from loopy so they can be duplicated crossf
Hi, i also tried recording a section through midi, into audiobus, then trimmed start an end in auria, then duplicated the clip. I also got clicks. crossfading was so hard because i found that i had to stretch one clip a tad longer in order to crossfade. Will try autocrossfade.Thanks.

Re: Auria update?
Hi washboy. Im aware of the double tap function for the stop button. Was hoping for something like deselecting "insertion follows playback" option in PT, where the playhead jumps back to where it started after pressing stop.

Re: Auria update?
How about auto tune or melodyn manual pitch correction plugin. Also Slate Digital virtual mic system was just introduced. It would be fantastic if this could work with Auria. http://youtu.be/_rzzoFCm8qk Graphical pitch correction would be awesome. But the slate thing is effective because of the par...

Re: Punching in on the fly
That's pretty much what I was driving at. Equally important is that in the time it takes to set up that procedure, vibe, inspiration or just the right rhythm and cadence can be lost. Yes, thought about that too. Manual punch is the de facto way of capturing a recording performance because it is int...

Re: Punching in on the fly
to me it's all about muscle memory, and being hard wired to work this way, having worked with manual punch for years. Auto punch is great if you have to retake one section several times, or if youre working alone. But if you're punching in several sections then it becomes tedious because it feels li...
