Re: Auria crash after download demo song......
I just tried all three songs - The Approach, Don't Ever Wanna Be Found and I Only Wanted, and it didn't crash on our iPad 2. The download takes three steps: Downloading Uncompressing Processing Audio Files Which step causes the crash for you? The last step, "Processing Audio Files" take a ...

Re: Effects and memory
I'm not really sure why you would have issues recording dry (no effects). What sort of "bad sound" are you getting? What input are you using? Is it the built-in mic, or are you using a USB interface?

Re: Auria crash after download demo song......
Maybe I'm not understanding exactly what issue you're having. Can you describe exactly the steps you're taking to make it crash? This will help in case there's a misunderstanding. For example, here's what I do (and it works fine): On an iPad 2: 1. Close all background apps, and start Auria fresh (so...

Re: Effects and memory
Anton, Ok, I think I understand why you're having issues. Auria lowers it's latency when recording, and if the latency is set too low, some plug-ins will use more CPU. Also, convolution reverb is not available during recording (it is automatically disabled). The convolution reverb algorithm is too C...

Re: iOS6 = Multi-Route Audio = Multi Outputs?
Guys, sorry, I really can't comment on that. Apple has a very strict NDA, and I'm going to stick on the safe side.
Future updates of Auria are going to get better and better, and as the operating system evolves, our goal is to always take full advantage of whatever advances become available.

Re: Effects and memory
Anton, Auria is a tool, and like any tool, it provides different results depending on how it's used. Plenty of people here are using Auria and getting fantastic results. If you carelessly load up Auria with plug-ins, you're likely to get a CPU overload. But this doesn't make Auria useless. With care...

Re: Effects and memory
Drumagog is nothing to be scared of Plenty of users are having no issues at all with Drumagog and Convolution reverb. For example, you can insert two instances of Drumagog (kick and snare) on the Approach demo project with no issues at all on an iPad 3.

Re: Crashing on mix down
OK, in this case, please send me your project, so I can reproduce it here. It's possible there's something unique about your project that's causing a crash. You can zip up the project and send it to rim @ drumagog (dot com).
Thanks,
Rim

Re: 1818VSL Help
The iPad will only output from 1&2 on a USB device. The reason why you're not hearing anything out of 1 & 2 is because the 1818 defaults to "volume off" on output 1&2. It's an easy fix - 1. Plug in the 1818 while Auria is running 2. Once you see the USB indicator on top of Auri...

Re: Effects and memory
Anton, Sorry to hear about these problems you're having. Like any DAW (even DAWs on PC or Mac), it's possible to overload Auria if you're not careful. The CPU meter may only show 30%, but sometimes a plug-in will "peak" the meter briefly to 100%. This may be the reason you're seeing the CP...

All great ideas, thanks. @schroedpot, there's no way to move multiple automation points at this time, but it's a good suggestion, thanks.

Re: Drumagog in Auria
Sure, it's easy to move files around in Auria. Just drag and drop them. For example, go to the Import Audio screen, tap and hold on a wav file, then drag it into the folder you want. To move it "up" one folder, drop it onto the Back Arrow icon.

Re: Crashing on mix down
The most common cause of an unexplained crash happens because your iPad shuts Auria down due to low memory. To avoid this, make sure that all your background apps are closed (double click on the home button and tap/hold on each icon you see to close them). Also, try closing Auria the same way. To do...
