Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)
I don't understand exactly what you mean. Rim let's say you wanted to select a bunch of clips (say lots of small drum slices), what I tried to do initially was use the highlight tool to lasso all the clips and then went to the drop down edit menu and expected to see a 'copy', 'cut' or 'delete'. The...

Re: am i really the only one?? (sluggish edit window)
its simple ideas like this that really are very good. Another one would be to allow the 'highlight' tool to be used to copy/cut selection to clipboard, it's already built into Auria and fulfils a need (to select/manipulate multiple clips quickly and efficiently) which currently there is no simple wa...

Re: Here comes the competition: Cubasis
'CD quality audio' = 16 bit ==> Not professional. At least for what I look for as a fundamental requirement of a DAW. From the video clip Cubasis looked clunky, not sure if that was the video frame rate or whether it was the way it was coded. The fact that Rim used machine code means we're guarante...

'ideally' double tapping the stop button should return to previous marker, then previous loop in point and finally to start of song.

I'd rather see a tolerant forum even at the expense of repeating a few threads. People can get converted and then get drawn in to the community. that's the way I see it anyhow.

Re: Some update issues
I have to agree with Anton, Auria is a professional environment for audio, comparable with desktop DAW's but with many many advantages not least of which is ease of use. What Dominic is picking up on I think, is the number of errors there are in the current version as if somehow an ipad app must hav...

Re: Some update issues
I've also had problems with drumagog tracks being out of sync after the track is frozen. No details but I just thought you might like to know others have come across the same issue.

Re: moving clips when snap is turned off
updated to 1.04 and (cue drum roll) I can now move regions without the 'initial jump' after pressing and holding a region for a short moment.
Thanks Rim this makes editing a whole lot easier

Re: Auto punch
set the in & out markers around the area you want to overdub. arm the track you want to record on. rewind the play head to give you a run into the dub and then press record. Auria will only record between the in & out markers. It wont erase what was underneath (if there was anything undernea...

Re: using Auria to record other synths (background mode)
yes. Auria wont record any apps directly onto a track (currently).
Some apps (synths/ drum machines etc) will still function (make sounds etc) with Auria playing in the background, some wont.

I would wait for the next update 1.04 currently in review at Apple. It may fix a number of the issues you are experiencing.
