Re: Auria reviewed on Sonic Touch
There's definitely some room for optimization, and we're going to constantly improve Auria's editing. But the iPad is not very good at drawing lines, and waveforms require lots of them. This is compounded by the fact that Auria needs a lot of RAM due to it's hight track count. Other iPad DAWs get a...

Re: Auria reviewed on Sonic Touch
I agree about the lag in the editing view. The lag when scrolling vertically really needs to be fixed. And generally a bit smoother pinch/zoom. It does get to you the lag and it defeats the purpose of using a multitouch screen for this kind of work. Wave labs definatly needs to fix it somehow (with...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Do you notice this with plug-ins or with faders, pans, etc? How many tracks are in your project? Thanks, Rim 4 Tracks and i've definitely noticed it on the volume automation. Haven't tried it on the EQs, because i still need to figure out which EQ function means what. On another question, will i be...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
I don't know wether this is a bug or a desired effect, but it seems to me that the automation has some kind of lag. It just doesn't hit the control points exactly, it's always a little behind. Makes it hard for me to modulate sounds exactly.

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
replace frozen track with rendered audio into the track (24bit). if you know that the frozen track is fine and you want to print the effects onto the audio but would like carry on making edits to the track (ie splitting, moving, fading, duplicating and deleting parts of the track). That's a very go...

Re: New background audio mode in v1.02
TumbJam won't play a note, when Auria is loaded. And DM1 gets totally out of control then, but i guess that's a cpu or ram thing.

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
I don't know wether this is possible, but when i'm editing automation control points, my finger always seems to be in the way, so that i can't see exactly where i'm going to set the point :) Some kind of magnifier, like the one you have whenever you type something, would be really nice. But like i s...

Re: The mindless praise thread
I feel exactly the same about this as you, Androcid. I love sounddesign and everything that comes with it. I've been doing it on a pc for years, up until the day that i've stopped it all, because i couldn't take it anymore that i've been using illegal software since day one. I just had to stop, beca...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Can i actually copy automation control points? For example, when i set the control points for a sample, and then i'm duplicating it, which works just fine, the control points won't come with it. Or, for example, when i set the control points for a specific eq parameter, and then i want to have the e...

Re: Drum Machine/Apps that work with Auria?
DM1 is awesome, and the next update will bring an import function for own samples. I'm creating my beats there, and import the loops via AudioCopy in Auria. It's not perfect, but as long as there's no midi, it's a good enough way to be creative. I can at least work like that

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
A simple pitch function, that i can use per automation would be awesome. Like when i want to built up some tension with a string sample, that slowly goes up and up. I hope you get what i'm trying to say :) It's a standard feature on any DAW as far as i know, and it's something that i could use right...
