@Olivenoire multiple instances of synths = audio units (au) tech, if you want several tracks of an iaa synth like nave, you can arrange separate finished recordings on them via audiopaste, or set up a midi track and record your performance there, with no instrument loaded, and midi input from nave, ...

@dj8 with some headwrapping done, thanks and @kaikoo's approach, an attempt for an integrated looping environment, these were the steps involved: Audiobus, Aum, Auria Pro, Thumbjam, Firo, Fugue Machine, Loopy HD Open Audiobus, launch Aum in the output. Well, actually simply by loading an iaa synth, letting it play in bkgrnd, and touching on the timeline is muting the sound, while holding. thanks:) Not that it doesn't feel natural that way, I'm only wondering how to evaluate the usefulness of it. Timeline tap mutes incoming iaa

Tapping on the timeline and an iaa instrument loaded (note hold) is muting the incoming signal. Why is this, please, ?
