The current version of Drumagog for Auria will only see the root folder, so creating subfolders isn't currently possible. It's something we'll add to a future version, though.

Drumagog can load any wav or aiff files. Just put a file in Auria's root folder using iTunes File Sharing. The version of Drumagog in Auria can't create gog files, though. Yes, that's precisely what Drumagog is designed for. It'll replace a drum track in real time. It works great with hihats as well, but we didn't include any in the bundled samples, as cymbals take a significant amount of space. This should be possible. Just use the Background Audio mode in Auria's settings. As long as the other app doesn't use too much memory, it should be no problem. CPU shouldn't be an issue I'd imagine.

Hmm. I just tried on both Aux and channel inserts and it works here. When you have a chance, you you try it on your channel inserts? My guess is there was an issue loading that last file. If the WAV file is corrupt, or if it contains non-standard headers (like wav file from beatmaker), Auria won't load them. I've improved the wav file loading code in v1.02, so it should be more robust.

The Presonus and the Focusrite interfaces all do that - The channel layout is like this:
