Re: Apps that Midi Sync with Auria
Thanks again!
I saw it's from the same dev than Audio Mastering etc (and it's much cheaper now than it was in the beginning) so i'll give it a try.

Re: Apps that Midi Sync with Auria
Midi Pattern Sequencer. Locks up to Auria and controls all your midi apps. 8/10 by A.I.R. Studio. Nice thing about this sequencer is that it takes up very little cpu power. Highly recommend it. Cheers. ~~_/)~~~ Thanks for the tip, looks very interesting indeed. But is it really a rock solid sync? Not ...

Re: v1.155 Released
I installed the update now and was quite shocked because in the first moment (after i restarted the ipad of course) the scroll behaviour of the mixer was a little better (though still stuttered) but the CPU spikes as well.Leading to jumps from 59 to 80-85% percent when scrolling and i started to ask...

Re: Some News about AURIA's MIDI SEQUENCER ???
It's a matter of taste."Best possible Midi integration"clearly includes a virtual keyboard for me ;-) As said before,it will speed up the workflow if not switching back and forth between apps.A good workflow is very high on my priority list. And there are even a some apps that don't transmi...

Re: Some News about AURIA's MIDI SEQUENCER ???
I am not planning on having any controller inside Auria, since almost every instrument app already has a keyboard. I saw no reason to add another one within Auria. Rim Rim, I'm slightly disappointed by this decision, I think it would be a good idea to actually include a midi keyboard within Auria, ...

Re: v1.155 Released
Do you still have them on Air 2?Rims fix works for me since 8.1.1 but apple needs to fix it if we want a smooth mixer back.mtingle wrote:*finger crossed for some help with the CPU spikes.

Re: New side scrolling discovery I think
Just to be clear:i have no doubt that you try to do your best,as always!Just wanted to give more input on that particular issue. It's possible though to stress an ipad with Gadget as well.Their specs say you can expect 20-25 realtime tracks with an ipad Air (1) so i made a test project with 22 (to ha...

Re: New side scrolling discovery I think
By the way Rim,you said it happens when apps using the apple style scrolling. While cubasis doesn't do it this way,Korgs Gadget does. And scrolling the mixer etc.is very smooth without glitches even with stressing the CPU a bit more.

Re: Which IPad is best for auria?
Yes,i'm aware there are more problems now.But the thing is that since the release of ios 8 many formally well working AB configurations are f*cked under ios 7 as well. So,in relation to this i don't think ios 8 is worse.Just different maybe ;) And devs will focus on fixes and improvements for 8 first...

Re: Which IPad is best for auria?
What are the"lots of complaints"you hear?Maybe we can clear up with some myths :) I have a Mini Retina (iOS 7.1.2) and an Air 2.And so far i'm definitely happier with the Air 2.I'm not doing a lot of Audiobus stuff (i prefer IAA)but iOS 8.1.1 runs really well. The two flaws i have: 1.The&q...

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
Thanks for letting us know.Well,at least your fix is working as it should now.
Definitely much better with 8.1.1 but of course i'm looking forward to the day when we get the smooth scrolling back.

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
I have tested more now and stressed the cpu a little more (roundabout 60-70%),result:cpu meter was"rock solid",no weird jumps,no"low cpu"warnings even with very fast mixer movements (21 tracks).I would say apple really fixed it :D So,Rim.Can we please have the smooth mixer back :...

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
well I didn't expect it so soon, but the new 8.1.1 update (after a reboot) shows non of the cpu screen spikes on a project from earlier today that was spiking all the time. More testing to do but it looks promising so far... it seems you are right,i couldn't test it further now but my current proje...

Re: Is it safe
Of course, coming from an ipad 2 it's a HUGE improvement anyway.Afaik the Air 2 is 10x as powerful as the ipad 2.I had a Mini Retina before and that's the reason why i currently feel a little disappointed. That said, even if it's up to apple to fix the two big issues (scrollview and Ram bug)there's sti...
