Re: Can I export to a desktop DAW?
You can export your Auria projects as AAF files (from the Menu) and then continue working in any DAW that supports AAF files (like Pro Tools and Logic).

Re: No stereo input anymore? Also no “USB” indicator with interface plugged in
I don't have a USB-C enabled iPad to run any tests on my end to confirm or deny this. Hopefully someone else here can double-check this for you.

1) Not really, but thank you
2) Sure, that's very polite
3) No
4) As long as you don't appear to be working for or putting the videos out on behalf of WaveMachine Labs you are okay to do as you wish

Re: How to improve midi timing?
I use a Korg nanoKey and there is generally no 'noticeable' latency when recording MIDI over Bluetooth.
What interface are you using?
Have you tried an external device other than your iPhone?

Re: Older tech question...
The hardware in the iPad 3 is quite outdated and your experience with Auria will be "less than ideal".

Re: Older tech question...
I would put an inquiry into Alesis to see if/when they dropped support for the first gen of the dock. If memory serves me correct, the dock originally had a 30 pin connector. So, for your iPad 4 you would need a 30 pin to lightning adapter and theoretically it should work under iOS 9/10.

Hello,
Can you outline your process, step-by-step as to how you are approaching your MIDI recording?

Re: iTunes demise
File access to iPad apps was already made better than iTunes with the introduction of the Apple Files App in iOS 11.
iTunes is being split into three apps that have already existed on iOS for some time now. I don't think there will be much of an impact here. This has been coming for a long time now.

Re: Mixdown is failing (hanging) with AudioLayer
No, I meant what was 'export' set to?
Try setting 'export' to off to see if the mix down works then... If this works, the file will end up in the Auria documents folder which is accessible through the Apple Files App on your iPad.
