Re: Help? Auria will not sync to ANYTHING...
there's always the MTC sync option. This locks very reliably.

Re: Major Auria Announcement
ah yes, you are right. In the Output Matrix, the Aux sends can be assigned to a different physical output.

you can do this already with the Aux sends. In the Output Matrix, the Aux returns can be assigned to a different physical output.

I'm not sure if Apple has much to do with it (not really an Apple fan myself).

Re: Need help: Removing pops and clicks from vinyl recording
did you use a plugin in Soundforge or did you cut out each click manually? With software it is a difficult process, and I'm not sure if a restoration suite is available on the iPad at all. With manual cutting/lowering levels it can be done in Auria, but I wouldn't do that. And using Auria plugins wo...

Re: Auria not recognizing Babyface ???
before attaching the Babyface, press and hold both buttons on the device. Then the device switches to "Class Compliant" and can be recognised by the iPad.

Re: Some News about AURIA's MIDI SEQUENCER ???
Monoboy, don't you think a LPK25, QuNexus, or other mini-keyboard would be a better solution? They are light weight, small, and much better than any virtual iPad keyboard because of MIDI velocity and even aftertouch.

Re: Which Video format on Auria?
in desktop DAW's it is common practice to use a proxy video file. In Auria and the iPad platform this is even more necessary. In other words, one has to prepare the video file (render to a lower resolution and format/container that can be read by the DAW) in a video editor application on a computer ...

Re: export embedded AAF
I understand. It's not very important for me. And just to have AAF export is great.
Thank you.
Thank you.

export embedded AAF
would it be possible to implement a choice in the export options, if the audio files are embedded in the AAF or not?
This would help me a lot, because then I could import Auria projects into Harrison Mixbus. The Ardour Xchange plugin seems to accept only embedded files.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
it's the same like in any desktop DAW. If your audio interface has more than two outputs you can route some of them to outboard gear, and return it to the inputs.
It's not a question about Auria, it's about hardware.

Re: Can you power the Apogee Duet for iPad with a mobile opt
the original adapter outputs 5V/3A. That's one reason why I didn't try out mics that need phantom power. And I have the Apogee MiC, so I use the Duet2 for other purposes.
And yes it's the Duet2 for iOS. The earlier model is not able to power the iPad.

Re: Can you power the Apogee Duet for iPad with a mobile opt
yes. I have a PowerTank with 5V/2.5A output, with that one the Duet2 and an iPad2 are supplied with enough power. I haven't tried condenser mics yet, but the attached mini-keyboard (Akai LPK25) is working. The iPad4 needs more power. The Duet2 is functioning I think, but does not charge the iPad. It...
