Re: iPad storage consumed when exporting to DropBox
Rim, Still doesn't explain why preview.wav increases in size (until your run out of storage on iPad), only when exporting to DropBox. My recommendation is to remove the feature "Export to DropBox" if this issue isn't going to be addressed. My whole purpose for using Auria is so I don't hav...

Re: iPad storage consumed when exporting to DropBox
Seems like if you turn on "Project Auto-Cleanup" in Settings --> General, this doesn't happen. Can you explain?

Re: Recording from Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
I did do the "Save to Hardware" via MixControl, but will try it again.

iPad storage consumed when exporting to DropBox
During the export to DropBox, I get a message on the iPad that I'm out of storage and sure enough I'm down to "0". When I connect my iPad in iTunes and look at the New Project 1 folder, it's way to big 18G for a 30 second recording of 2 tracks. During the export process, the preview.wav wi...

Re: Size of preview.wav is HUGE
Rim, The problem is that it's sucking the storage out of my iPad. During the export to DropBox, I get a message on the iPad that I'm out of storage and sure enough I'm down to "0". When I connect my iPad in iTunes and look at the New Project 1 folder, it's way to big 18G for a 30 second re...

Re: Recording from Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
The USB hub is called Kanex Model: USB3HUB4X. The only caveat is that in order to charge the iPad on Port 1, it has to be in standalone mode (i.e. not connected to PC or Mac). Just realized that this is my issue with the hub. The end that would normally connect to the PC or Mac (output) needs to con...

Size of preview.wav is HUGE
Why is the size of preview.wav so huge? I recorded 2 tracks for about 30 seconds. Track 1 and 8 are 2.8 MB is size and preview.wav is 1.2 GB.

Re: Recording from Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
I'm confident that there are other 18i20 users on this forum. Perhaps one of them can at least confirm that the 18i20->Hub->CCK->iPad combination does work. But if it works without a hub, and you don't need the hub in the equation for any other reason, then I guess it's not an issue. I have a vague...

Re: Recording from Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
USB hub is powered. Looks like it will only work with the Focusrite plugged directly into the iPad using the CCK (Camera Connection Kit). I have an old iPad 1 sitting around with 64GB of memory, so I may elect to use that since I use my iPad 3 docked to my Mackie DL1608 digital mixer and my iPad Air...

Recording from Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
I have 2 - Focusrite 18i20's connected to each other via ADAT to give me a full 16 channels. Work great when my PC laptop is connected and using Cakewalk Sonar X3 as my recording DAW. My goal is to use the 2 - Focusrite 18i20's as my recording source and record to the Auria DAW (multitrack). both th...

We must have literately posted at the same time LOL. Anyway, thanks for the quick reply!Rim wrote:OK, the problem is that you have record enable set on track 3. If you turn that off, you should be able to mix down.

Re: Mixdown file empty exporting to Dropbox
Rim,
I may have figured it out. If any of the tracks your are trying to mixdown are still armed to record, then they don't mixdown. That simple. BTW, I like the new 1.10 . I was getting some weird glitches under the prior version.

Re: Mixdown file empty exporting to Dropbox
Rim,
Here are the screenshot attachments. You can clearly see the there is activity on the Master fader and it is set for unity gain. Also included is the settings for mixdown.

Mixdown file empty exporting to Dropbox
I'm fairly new to Auria so this may be an over-site on my part. When I record track 1 and perform a mixdown to Dropbox, there is no audio. However, If I export the project to Dropbox, the Audio01-1.wav file has audio. I know this has to be something simple. Please advise.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Error uploading to DropBox Account
BTW, on the same iPad I have running Auria, I have OnSong and can backup a 10MB database file to Dropbox without a hiccup using the same Internet connection.
