Re: Suggestion about a toolbar
some useful suggestions, but let's not forget the app bar that will come when Audiobus will be supported in Auria. A toolbar pop-up could come in the way. I'm duplicating quite often because I work loop-based at the moment (because I use Loopy as a multitrack recorder for internal app sounds and tra...

Re: Audio output levels / Mastering tutorial
it is not so clear today what is meant with 'loud'. Do you mean low level, or good level that has not that 'punch' like modern dance productions? If you have low levels on your track meters and on the master meter, try to raise the faders. If you still have not enough level, it might be a good idea ...

Re: Is there a projected 1.06 release date
those who are waiting for Audiobus support can do multitrack overdubs (one recording at a time) with Loopy, and then Audio Copy to Auria.

Re: Quantize? Any hope?
I'm not sure if we can talk about 'audio quantize'. You can quantize MIDI and render the audio, or use special applications with timestretch/granular.

Re: Quantize? Any hope?
no  One has to record to the tempo. There are programs like Recycle I think, they can slice and sync your recordings to a tempo. What you can do on the iPad is to record first into a looper app and export to Auria. I was doing this recently (Loopy has Audiobus support), and the loop fit perfec...

#1 and #3 will surely improve performance. Not so sure about the rest. From my experience #4 can be done with unloading Auria from (iPad) memory and restarting Auria.

Re: Auria File Manager
I guess zipping everything is a good method. I've done it only few times with Auria, but not recently. I think that applies to all iPad-iTunes transfers. With this method the folder structure should remain intact.

http://www.studiosixdigital.com/iaudiointerface2 That one looks good, and from the description works with lightning-30pin adapter as well. Then of course those from Apogee and Focusrite, as listed here: http://auriaapp.com/Support/auria-audio-interfaces Oh, I see the iaudiointerface2 is not on the l...

Re: How can I run an interface and charge iPad at the same t
it is not possible*, even with splitters, adapters, and hubs. At the moment there are only dedicated iPad-interfaces that can supply power.

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
The one thing I could find was the abilty to sync my mpc1000 to the app. I assume you meant "couldn't". At the moment there is no sync option in Auria except WIST and Auria-Auria. What you can do however is to record with a known tempo (BPM) and line up the different tracks manually. You'...

Re: Let them work and rtfm
indeed great support! I also have the impression the quality of the forum has decreased a bit, on the other hand I can understand that not everybody has 20+ years of experience in recording and sound engineering. I'm sure there are Auria users in the teen age, and they haven't had a chance to know a...

Re: Audiobus support ?
I guess it will take some time until the real fun starts. At the moment I have only a few apps that support Audiobus, but I have no doubt it will change the way we use iPads.

Re: Anyone tried the Tascam iu2?
oh, that is unfortunate (for two reasons). Does the 48V-LED light up when you activate phantom power? If not, then the switch could be the culprit. Also remember to connect the mic first and enable the switch after (that's one should do anyway with condenser mics), and have the iU2 powered by the iP...

Re: Focusrite itrack solo?
please accept my apologies, my mistake. There is an increasing number of spam bots in internet forums lately, and I really thought this was one of those posts. You used the same wording (copy paste) that I've read three times already, which led me to the wrong conclusion. Sorry about that.
