Hi Stanley82, What light is blinking? If it is the USB green light this is indicating a driver connection, so possibly the iPad is reengaging the driver when switching programs. Does closing all programs and then opening them again help? Does resetting the iPad with the Home and Power button help? D...

If you go into Auria's Output Matrix you will see that you can assign any of the Subs or Auxes in Auria to any of the 2i4's Outputs. You could choose to say make Aux 1 Outputs 3/4 or any other assignment you wish.

The original poster is actually correct. You can set up a Saffire Pro 40 in Standalone Mode to operate as a ADAT Device. Then you can connect it to the Optical Input port on your 18i20 or other USB Interface from any brand with an ADAT Optical port. In this case as the Firewire port is not used, but...

Unfortunately no you are correct, as all processing happens within the Computer's CPU and the VRM Box is not Class Compliant you cannot use it with an iPad.
