Auria and MultiTrack DAW both record .wav files.

That's right. With no interface you'd also need a 1/8 to either xlr, 1/4 inch, or rca cable, depending on the monitors' input.

If you're going to monitor through speakers connected to the headphone jack, you'll get far more accurate results if you turn off "Built-In Speaker/Mic Processing" in Auria's settings. The iPad's headphone out processes the outgoing signal by default.

If you're importing AIFFs from Auria's "import file" option, there's an option on the bottom of the import window that says "Automatic Time Stretch". Make sure this is enabled and each loop you import will be automatically stretched to the BPM of the song.
