Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?

Auria uses centered crossfades, where the splice point is always at the center of the two volume envelopes. The only difference is that Pro Tools offers two additional "placements", pre-splice and post-splice - your illustration shows a pre-splice crossfade. We wanted to keep Auria stream-...

Re: Glitchy Performance Requiring Mutiple Restarts

We haven't seen any 8.3-specific issues that should affect recording, but we'll need to pull out an 1818VSL and give it a test ourselves. Can you say what type of setup you were using, like sample rate, number of tracks, etc? We can do some tests with 8.3 just to make sure it isn't something related...

Re: Gog files and iFunbox restrictions in iOS 8.3

While hopefully Apple and iFunBox will work things out and get an 8.3 compatible version going, in the meantime there is a way to add new .gog files to Drumagog in Auria using iTunes and .zip files. If you have some .gog files you want to move onto the iPad, first make a folder called "Gog File...

Re: Bugs?

When uploading to Dropbox, there are two different steps that happen. First, Auria performs a Mixdown of your current mix as it currently sounds, and then uploads that mixed-down file to Dropbox. As a test, what happens when you remove Dropbox from the equation and instead mixdown locally? Disable t...

Re: Odd meter time signature support

Hi, Auria currently supports a few of those non-standard signatures, here's the current list available in the app: 2/2 4/2 2/4 3/4 4/4 5/2 5/4 3/8 6/8 7/8 9/8 12/8 Regarding your example of subdividing 9/8 measures as 2-2-2-3 vs 3-3-3, Auria's built-in metronome is very simple and doesn't have any c...

Re: Normalizing

Hello, Hmm, not sure exactly what might be going wrong. It sounds like the gain is being raised (which is what's supposed to happen when normalizing), as you see the meters showing hotter signal. I guess the question is what is the track quieter in relation to? Other existing tracks? The previous ve...

Re: PSP in app Sale 50% off

The sale is happening in every territory; the price shown on the IAP's description doesn't always update quickly during these short sales - the old priced display stays cached for a while - but that doesn't affect the actual purchase price. If you click on the price button, you will get a confirmati...

Re: MoReVoX Multitrack loops volume 2

Sure, all refunds would go through Apple directly - we have no access to anything on the sales side of iOS. There should be a link in the original email receipt you received from Apple for those libraries to contact Apple support. FYI I haven't been able to recreate any issues with either library wh...

Re: MoReVoX Multitrack loops volume 2

Yes, you can always re-download it buy "re-buying" it through the Auria store; as long as you are logged in with the same iTunes account you purchased it with you won't be charged again, and the library will be overwritten.

Re: MoReVoX Multitrack loops volume 2

Can you tell us a bit more how you're using these loops, like is it using the auto-time stretch option when importing a loop, or manually stretching the loop in the editor? And let us know if there is a specific loop that's causing trouble, as so far the loops I've tried from that library have worke...

Re: Focusrite 2i2 ipad connection

To make sure there wasn't some new issue with iOS 8 I wanted to test this out, so I searched around to find your exact Belkin USB hub and picked one up to test back at the office. Using a Scarlett 18i20 (as we don't have a 2i2 in-house) with that Belkin hub and an iPad with iOS 8.1 everything worked...

Re: Can't select movie export

I assume you are talking about the "Mixdown" menu here, correct? Some of those options can appear in multiple places, so we will need to know the context to help you out, including describing your project, etc. If you are referring to some of the different options in Auria's Mixdown window...
