That i understand, but how about with just an iPad?Rim wrote:To use your own IRs, just put the IRs into the "IR Files" folder in Auria's file system. You can do this easily by using a program called iFunBox for your Mac or PC. Make sure the IR files are stereo WAV files.

Re: How to import IR files?
I'm on my iPhone right now not my iPad, but when I tapped on the second link, I was offered the option to open the IRs in DropBox. If you can get them into DropBox, it should be pretty easy to get them into Auria. I think so too, but how exactly? I remember reading about importing them via the iTun...

How to import IR files?
I would like to use some that i've found on the net, but i have only an iPad available right now. Any chance to import them without using anything external? And if not, how do i do it via PC? If you're interested, here's a very nice source for IRs: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/printview.php?t=62458

Re: New to Auria
Regarding your question, i'm trying to bounce as little as possible, because it limits my flexibility a lot. But given the limited ressources i got, i'm using the freeze function (on-the-fly bouncing) all the time.

Re: New to Auria
Welcome.
Auria gave me as well a significant boost to get into production again.
The limitations of the iPad can be a bit frustrating at times, but the usability
Is something else, imo.
Feel free to ask any question, i'm sure someone can help you out

Re: What Plugins Do You Use And Why
@geronimo certainly not questioning their quality or bang for the buck. Just, no matter how badly I want them, I don't really need them yet. I need to finish songs worth mixing! Then I'll need them. I see. I just wanted to point out that the plug-ins are a nice way to support the developers further...

Re: What Plugins Do You Use And Why
I've managed to resist buying any of them. I do look a little longingly at Saturn and Timeless on occasion. There's absolutely no reason not to buy them. Think about it, you're helping effectively three entities with a considerably small investment. The guys at Fabfilter to keep up such an amazing ...

Re: What Plugins Do You Use And Why
About all of them. It's actually amazing that Auria got Fabfilter to contribute right from the beginning. Even for pro standards they are some of the best audio tools out there.

Re: How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
I actually did listen to the samples for quite a while. I notice the FX in those sections you pointed out and they are timbered by the original hit. Reverb has no sound until its triggered by something and that timbre will decide the tail and sound of that tail. A high sound in frequency will not p...

Re: Plugin order
Another thing i would like to add: When i use a preset of one of the plug-ins, it never saves the name or the position of the preset in the list. So when i load up a project again and i would like to change the preset for a moment, i can't really go back to it, because i can rarely recall the name o...

Re: How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
Hi Geronimo. I think I might have created the theatrical boom your looking for , or at least close, using only Auria and it's plugins. If you like the effect than I can describe how I created it and what plugins I used. This was NOT a sample, I simply layered 3 kick drum hits together with no FX th...

Re: How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
I believe there are no restrictions with a convolution reverb. I haven't tried it out yet, but with a long tailed reverb IR it should be possible. With the standard Cubase convolution reverb I've also done amp, EQ, and tape simulations, no problem at all. I don't see a reason why this shouldn't be ...

Re: How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
That "out in space" sound is usually just a combination of a large hall and the mix control being set so there's very little dry signal coming through. Maybe others have more detailed ideas? Rim I've been working on it for over a week now. The tail of a large hall just hasn't the right dy...

How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
I'm straight copying a thread that i've made over at gearslutz. But i'm asking it here again because you guys should know best what the effects are capable of. And to be quite honest, the classicverb pro doesn't perfom incredibly well whenever i try to get something nice out of it. I always find mys...
