Re: Will Midi and/or Audiobus in Auria require ipad upgrade?
I appreciate all the positive feedback, but lets not lose focus: the objective here is to find out if Auria and Audiobus can coexist on an iPad 2. The answer is NO. Rim suggested loading Auria, Audiobus and another app. On my iPad 2, I experienced dropouts and clicks and eventually apps crashed. So ...

Re: Will Midi and/or Audiobus in Auria require ipad upgrade?
Rim, I did something similar: I launched Auria, then launched Audiobus. I activated two Audiobus compatible apps and switched back to Auria. As you stated, the CPU went up significantly and dropouts started to occur. A better alternative for me is to use WIST compatible apps on my iPod Touch and let...

Re: Adverts in Auria
Rim, you wear a lot of hats, don't you? I don't think the in app advertising is that bad, especially when compared to what other companies do. Truth be told, I haven't seen any in app adverts. Is it triggered by a prior purchase?

Will Midi and/or Audiobus in Auria require ipad upgrade?
I have an iPad2 and like everyone else, I was very excited when Audiobus was announced. Then I discovered Auria and I forgot about Audiobus (for awhile). Now Audiobus is with us, and I have a concern: will adding Audiobus and MIDI support to Auria require a hardware upgrade or a sacrifice of the num...

Re: Zoom R8 Works with iPad 2
Hope this is not a repeat: I can confirm that the Zoom R8 works with iPad2, using CCK and powered USB hub.

Re: Using a mixer with Auria
Just out of curiosity, do you have a desktop or laptop based DAW already?

Re: Using a mixer with Auria
By using an external mixer to control Auria, are you not turn your iPad into an overpriced and under-performing video monitor?

Re: Using a mixer with Auria
Forgive my curiosity: I was curious as to why you want to replace the touch control of Auria?

Re: Why no MIDI in Auria? Cheaper apps are offering more!
Auria may not have midi, but it does have WIST, which allows me to sync my iPod with my iPad. As a result, I can compose using apps like Synthstation, Figure, ReBirth, NL Midi Synth and record the audio into Auria, and have every track recorded in sync with Auria. That feature is available right now.

Re: Why no MIDI in Auria? Cheaper apps are offering more!
I have a question: is not having midi or audiobus preventing anyone from using this astonishing program to record musical performances?

Re: About the 50% price off sale of Auria today...
Hi everyone! I just joined and I wanted to chime in: I have kept my eye on this app ever since it was first announced. I agree that Auria is significantly better than most other DAW apps available for the iPad, but I had a very strong "psychological barrier" to paying $49.99. 9 minutes aft...
