I don't know why it worked but so far it's working. I can hear the tracks to play against, playback seems fine and no weird dist...

So I dunno if this will help, but the habit that I've gotten into since it seems to work the best is- with nothing connected, power on the PreSonus and the hub, start Auria (fresh start) and THEN connect the CCK. I had that happen with the iPad 3 before. And I assume you're using an actual Apple CCK...

I am using the presonus. I keep 8 XLR mics connected at all times while I track live drums this month in my pseudo home studio. The presonus only has 8 XLR inputs anyways, the rest are quarter inch. I'm recording 8 tracks at a time in 96k on an iPad 4 with no other apps installed, just the default. ...

Either one. I had a track made up of 2 takes that I out back to back, neither one of them would gain up, not like 1.04 did.

So now in 1.05, the gain function under process no longer works. To test, I gained a quiet track up 10db (the max) and it says processing for about 30 milliseconds and then does nothing to the volume. The wav visually does not change either, obviously. In 1.04 this worked perfectly.
