Drums, drums, drums. And a kazoo.

Re: Your Favourite Auria Feature..Join in for the fun of it

For me, it's the way you can work your way in. I started with experience of four tracks back in the day, then GarageBand for iPad. I could start really easily at that level and then build it up bit by bit to more polished final results. Definitely not there yet, but enjoying the journey. For me this...

Re: What about AURIA PRO???

Mugaz84 and Martygras, from my extensive experience in the field, I would say that the software should be ready for beta testing about now. ;-)

Re: Think I Have My Drumming Workflow - Finally

I've got a kit too. 8 slots is a bit slim, 10 nearly there...

I guess doing that means that I could get into the world of drumagog. Fab!! I've got an irig midi. I'll try getting that midi routing app and see if that and my Roland TD3 will do the business!

Well I, for one, am pleased you've not sold out. My daughter reckons Minecraft is on a high speed train to rubbishness since Microsoft bought it out! :o

Re: Let's See Your Auria Project Studio...

Wow - lots of lovely toys. Interesting to see a lot of pedals. I'm taking the view that cow I'm quite well sorted for pedals and amps that I like the sound of, I don't think I'm going to bother with amp apps etc. Odd drum setup. Why not a Roland TD3 or something? To each his own. Do you trigger an a...

Re: Let's See Your Auria Project Studio...

Really great info, folks. My studio will be for tracking and mixing. The compromise is that the space won't be big enough, or away-from-kids-enough to have very loud stuff like live drums or valve amps, so I'm cheating with my Roland drums and valve attenuator etc. I reckon, from what you've said, s...

Re: Let's See Your Auria Project Studio...

Right, home studio project is GO, so I'm after your top tips for an iOS home studio. There's plenty of 'spend loads of money on pro grade equipment' advice out there, but I reckon a load of that advice is rubbish. I have a £70 condenser mic and a £450 industry standard one. Can I tell the difference...

Very impressive. Another example of the ability of Auria to create professional studio recordings. Good production.

Re: Master metering questions

I have a terrible habit of maxing out my levels. Comes from a background of noisy analogue recording (at least that's my excuse) and I always end up having to reduce levels and struggling with going into the red, or over compressing. Next project will be under strict rules of no maxing out levels du...

Sorry, I don't kno anything about using it as a plugin. I use it by exporting a stereo mix into my mastering app. That works really well.

Re: Tracking Session

That's the reason why I love using Auria / iPad. You plug it in and it... works.

I get precious little time to do recording and I want 0% of that time to be spent wrestling with a PC, updating drivers etc.

Re: Let's See Your Auria Project Studio...

Wow. It's inspiring to go through all these setups. My setup looks different depending on whether I'm using the living room, conservatory (only any good for electronic drum tracking because of the cat that keeps jumping on the roof!), or the utility room. For me, that's the joy of the iPad - fabulou...
