Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
As more experienced mixers and Artists I feel there is a need for us to help the staring mixer, producer and recording artist. I created Ask The Expert not only for nrewcomers to ask someone more seasoned in the world of DAW Recording advice, but also to give advice if the Experts notice a problem t...

Re: Audio output levels / Mastering tutorial
while this is all correct, I keep repeating this: one should be able to do a good mix with standard plugins. If that is not the case, new plugins won't help much, and the novice never really learns sound engineering. I agree. I think what your trying to advise here is that you see the same features...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
No problem. That is the advantage of these plugins. Its nice to not only hear whats going on but to actually see the proccessing is really helpful in speeding up a mix and getting a proper setting. Glad your enjoying your new plugins as I am too.

Re: Bug with audiocopy
I just tested this on my iPad 4 and I was able to audiocopy both a single pattern and a song from DM1 into Auria with no problems. This is with both Auria and DM1 open. Admittately DM1 did shut down when I first opened it but once opened again it worked fine. As for Funkbox, there is a problem here....

Re: Active Auria Artists Demos/Masters
I wrote this song for my wonderful daughter, Corinne. All done using AudioBus, JamUp Pro, MuliTrack DAW, GarageBand, and of course, Auria. Still trying to get better. Still too muddy and boomy. https://soundcloud.com/anorton/the-sun-will-rise Very good song with tins of vocal emotion. Who doesnt lo...

Re: adjusting mic gain
You should try to test it out in GarageBand because it may be an incompatibility issue. Good Luck.markush2628 wrote:It's become clear to me now that my mic is broken somehow

Re: adjusting mic gain
I just tested this feature and it is working as it should. So I don't think it's Auria. Is the input ok if you use another app say GarageBand? Are you adjusting the proper input? You should start by a hard re-set of your ipad. do this by holding the home button and the start button at the same time ...

Re: Audio output levels / Mastering tutorial
Mastering your audio just involves knowing what to do with your plugins. The ProL is a very good way to get your mix to the K12 or K20 scale which was created by Bob Katz a famous mastering engineer in order to settle the loudness war when compact disk was introduced. These volume scales fit today's...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
****Question about Fab Filter Pro-G filter?**** I posted this in the general forum, but have yet to get a response. I'm hoping I'll have better luck in here :). I've bought all the other Fab Filter plugs, (Pro-C, L, Q, & DS, Timless 2), but am debating on whether or not to buy the Pro-G. Is it ...

Re: Auria LE
Without the plugs it's just another sequencer. I'm really on the fence between Cubasis and Auria. Selling points to me for Auria are the (IA)plugs. I like PSP and Fabfilter. The full version with some of the IA plugs is gonna add up. I was waiting for the half off offer but missed it because it onl...

Re: moving regions between tracks vertically
Just want to thanks the Auria team for giving us more than 25 new features (all pro ) since Aurias release. Have not seen that in any app I own and all in less than a year. Thanks for being major code junkies. Glad to see Auria in the top 5 music apps.

Re: Bug - deleting unused project audio
I get this all the time as well. I think a feature that warns you that once you decide to delete the file you won't be able to return it into the project even if you press undue. This allows me control over my files not the system. If I decide to get a file out of the project temporarily but want it...

Re: Bug - AudioCopy of split region
As well if you freeze a track then select undo back tab the track unfreezes but if you select the re-due tab right after Auria freezes and requires a re-boot. Just thought I'd let you know. Way around this is not to select re- due directly after unfreezing a track.

Re: Bug - AudioCopy of split region
I was able to duplicate this. No possible way to do this except to mix down between locators and add the mix down as a new track then you can copy it to the pasteboard . Not the shortest route for sure.
