The iLoud's Bluetooth implementation is shockingly bad. You're missing nothing - it sounds dreadful across BT.

Re: ETA on MIDI integration?
Also ended up buying Cubasis to bridge the gap. But I have spent plenty on the Auria plugs, so I'll be back!
Cubasis is an ugly beast IMO, but it does work and seems to be reliable.

Re: New GUI!
I still hate iOS 7. It's slow to respond with all the silly fades and diffcult to use, and harder to explain to people who rely on my support. iOS 6 made sense. iOS 7 is just Seattle novelty from people who have lost their way. And Jonny Ive is going to make a mess of the next version of Mac OSX wit...

Re: It's alive! Focusrite iTrack Dock released.
Quartet is 12 in and 8 out but you need to add an ADAT unit like the Behringer ADA8000 or 8200 or the RME Octapre to get the extra 8 ins.

Re: It's alive! Focusrite iTrack Dock released.
Well, it's not really a matter of interpretation, more a matter of opinion. The Apogee Duet is far more expensive, so you can't really expect the iTrack Dock to compete. I own the old One and I had a Quartet for a week or so. They sound excellent, much better than the iTrack Dock in my opinion. That...

Re: v1.151 submitted to Apple today
Thanks Rim. Assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that this is the last of the bug-fix updates before the big new update with extra features, is there any chance that you can arrange for users to have BOTH the old 1.151 and the new 1.2/2.0 version installed? I realise this isn't how iOS normally works, but...

Re: Quality of preamps Focusrite 18i20 vs. Yamaha mixer MGP1
I think you said that the compressors were not engaged, so it's not that. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you can hear a difference. It's not really a pre-amp issue (if you are using line-level, then the pre-amp isn't really doing much or any work, depending upon the circuit configuration). It's m...

Re: itrack dock Midi controller keyboard
Anthony, take it easy, enjoy the meds, don't stress! I bought an iTrack Dock but I sent it back, didn't think much of the headphone or monitor outs. Probably good for the money, but not good enough for my uses. Didn't try the mic pres or the USB midi port. Dominic Dominic, I'd like to know a little...

Re: itrack dock Midi controller keyboard
Anthony, I don't think this is true. The iTrack dock has a USB Midi port which you can plug a keyboard straight into, as long as the keyboard has a USB Midi output port.
I don't think you need a CCK or a powered hub.

iTrack Dock Available
iTrack Dock is available for those interested. In stock at retailers in the UK.
Still no headphone output spec. Otherwise looks very much as planned, which is good.

Re: Mac desktop version?
I can understand why you might want Auria on a desktop OS, but the problem is that Auria is written from the ground up for a touchscreen device, using a programming framework which is exclusively for ARM processors, using functions (hardware and iOS functions) many of which are exclusive to iOS devi...

Re: Storage Solutions for iPad with Auria
There still seems to be a failure to realise that some people want to use the iPad without using their computer. The ability to take your iPad anywhere and do music and back it up to a disk or USB stick, not needing your own desktop or laptop nearby, or WiFi with massive bandwidth for uploading to D...

Re: Few simple questions
1) IAA Audio - someone else will have to help you, I don't use IAA 2) Side chain. This is when you use the input from a different track to change the way a plug-in works. For example. Track 1 is Guitar. Track 2 is Bass Drum. Put a compressor plug-in on on Track 1. Now set the side-chain on the compr...
