A volume bug when deleting a track
1. I made a background with Garageband. Imported the mixdown to Auria track #1. 2. Made a song track using track #2 and #3. 3. Imported the individual Garageband tracks, 5 tracks, to Auria: track #4 to #8. 4. Not needing the #1 backing track I deleted it (and track #2 as I was done singing). I.e. de...

Re: Auria and Garage Band
There is only copy to, not from, GB. You have to go through Itunes (I guess there are some Email options also, but I use Itunes): 1. I create the tracks in GB (using mostly smart instruments). 2. I mute all tracks except #1. 3. I set the level of #1 to as high as possible without distorting (no exce...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
About a possible midi-track update (or version): A chord track to control chord changes to various midi tracks / instruments would be nice. (Along with playing styles / patterns like in Garageband's Smart instruments.)

Re: Akai EIE Vs Akai EiE Pro
Whatever interface you get, make shure that you don't get stuck with the current, but soon old, dock conector. There will be adapters, but at a cost and bulkiness. But you have to have a camera connector kit fitting your device. Also, make shure you can record at 24bits for more headroom. Not all in...

Re: Akai EIE Vs Akai EiE Pro
I've seen on youtube that the red non-pro model works with Garageband on Ipad. Supports 2 channels - I am pretty sure I have read that it only works as a 4 to 2 channel mixer, but that could be wrong. Or that could have been updated since the early reviews I read. I think I ruled it out because of t...

Re: Apogee Mic with Auria
I read some reviews for this Apogee Mic and it seems to be sounding a bit thin. I instead bought the Apogee One which also has a built in microphone. But it also provides an optional 48V phantom powered input, AND an instrument input (e.g. guitar, keyboard) in mono. The downside for some is that ext...

Re: New update available (1.03.1)
"...to get auria to recognize signal from a simple 3.5 input cable,..." I guess this input needs to recognize an electret mic on a headset. Also the headset mic need a small current to work and there is therefore a small 1,2 something volts coming out of the I-device. On the Ipod Touch a c...

Re: SLow work flow??
...I got the impression that AudioCopy only was 16bit. Wouldn't that kind of ruin 24bit recordings in the conversions? 24bit -> 16bit -> 24bit.

Yes. Usually the switching isn't done that often.

Re: 24 bit?
24 bits recording = I just bought it!
The Apogee One works fine, but I have to have Garageband in the background. As I got GB it is fairly easy to switch between them. Otherwise the switching has to be done through a Mac. Wonder if GB eats cpu in the background?

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
Apogee One ----> [DOES WORK WITH CAMERA CONNECTION KIT, POWERED HUB AND GARAGEBAND FOR INPUT SWITCHING] (Apogee One requires Garageband, besides powered hub, and CC-kit, for switching between the four input settings. When swiching app to e.g. Multitrack DAW or AURIA it keeps the setting. The four mo...

24 bit?
Two questions: 24 bit support, and Apogee One input switch. There is not that much said regarding 24 bits at recording. I guess that as ipad can handle 24 bits Auria is fixed to 24 bits and converts everything, e.g. 16 bit audiocopy, to 24 bits? Or how does it work? Is there a option of 16 or 24 bit...
