Re: FaderPort and NanoKontrol 2: NoGo with iPad 4 (128GB)
Ok, Rim, thank you. I'll be sure to bring my powered hub with me next time...I'm sure the FaderPort will work fine. I do kinda wish that the NanoKontrol 2 would work as well. Although not as accurate as the FP, its multiple faders and small footprint would be a better fit for my live setup. Héh, may...

FaderPort and NanoKontrol 2: NoGo with iPad 4 (128GB)
So I brought my iPad 4 to Guitar Center. Hooked up a Korg NanoKontrol 2 (using Apple's short USB-to-Lightning cable, which is very reliable)...followed some of the users' directions on this Forum, e.g.... MIDI Settings: Mackie HUI, MMC Device 1, Remote Send/Receive......nuthin'. Tried Mackie MCU, th...

Re: New Auria update: 1.150
If you want to use Auria and AB at 256, you can do so by quitting all apps, then starting AB first, then Auria (with Audiobus mode turned off in Auria). The CoreAudio rule is the first audio app to request a buffer size is granted that buffer size. Rim I tried this last night, Rim...appears stable....

Re: Disk space usage
Rim, I like what you are considering. In the event that a user might wish to keep the original file(s), can you perhaps pop up a Yes/No [OK/Cancel] alert (or MessageBox) to give the user the option to delete or keep the original(s)?

Re: New Auria update: 1.150
Yes, Audiobus mode forces Auria to use a buffer size of 512 all the time. Normally, Auria switched between using 4096 during playback and 512 during recording. Doing this minimizes CPU usage, but some apps don't like such a large buffer size. Rim Rim, if I have Audiobus2 config'd @ 256, will Auria'...

Re: iOS Mastering App comparison (inc. Auria)
Thanks for the review Tarekith. I had already purchased Final Touch and decided to take another look at Audio Mastering. Glad I did...the price was reduced temporarily to $5.99...how could I resist??

Re: Video Add On bugs
Øhhh.... Well, then, the góòd news is that the Auria code is solid. The bád news is that you're sort of held hostage by (or within) Apple's framework unless and until you develop a workaround (which really should not have to be done) or Apple improves its design/implementation (which could take a co...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
For an excellent Leslie effect, pick up Yonac's Galileo (virtual B3 organ). It can be used as IAA or in Audiobus (as an effect, as well as an input).

Re: Video Add On bugs
Then a logical assumption is that the screen change from normal to full is too memory intensive to avoid a glitch. Increasing the buffer size might resolve the issue (at the expense of latency...and if you're not in Audiobus Mode). Just interested...what happens if you change from full back to norma...

Re: Mac desktop version?
Well...in the interim...since the sound is what matters, you can start by showing your client what Auria can do. Of course, you can always have the Studio One in full view, along with your 27" monitor, displaying an image of the Studio One's console layout...then the iPad, running Auria, might ...

How about a "toggle" option for Audiobus Mode - Global?
Or am I the only one who needs Audiobus Mode activated more often than not?
