Re: 1.06 great release
This update is very solid. Everything so far is working great. I performed a 16 track audiobus project test and it went smoothly and without a hitch. Loving the New PsP SpringVerb 2. Sounds great on my guitars and works great as an early reflection reverb for voice but you can also set it to a soft ...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
The Apogee Quartet is the only older device that can be upgraded to the new firmware that allows it to be used with the iPad acording to their website and today they made that statement in bright blue selectable text under FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS in the product list. They still claim that the old...

Re: Auria Abus problem
Ok well iOS 5.1 might be the problem as I do believe iOS 6 is better at running audiobus but I will have to investigate that first. I guess you already know not to apply any FX in Auria at all durring the recording pricess using Audiobus that will be too hard on the cpu. Thats when I realized you sa...

Re: JamUp Auria plug in
The JamUp Pro XT is already a guitar app and is Audiobus compatible and you can get Bass rigs as an in-app-purchase and not too expensive and they sound great. I use my JamUp Pro XT with Audiobus and now Auria. The app is fun on its own because it comes with a geat looper and tuner and a whole lot m...

Re: Auria Abus problem
Thanks on reply...I already did all that as well...I made new project 2 tracks, selected input matrix only to record armed track, no FX and stuff activated.....problem was the same. Then I tried to freeze 1st track and it was a lot better :D But still I hear a glitch here and there, but it is quite...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
Actually I hate to say this but they are different units and the Apogee Quartet and Duet now have a built in USB input for your midi Keyboard. The warning informing their customers that the older products will not work with the iPad is on their website in light grey type if you scroll down the produ...

Re: Auria Abus problem
I just did fresh install of full Auria with Audiobus 1.06 on my iPad 3 32GB, but I am having big problems with it. Recording first track in Auria with let`s say Magellan or SUnrizer is going well. But as soon as I try to record second track there is a big problem with glitches in synth input slot w...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
Great news as I have been a fan of Apogee products for years. Can't wait for all the Namm iPad Goodies.will wrote:Well I guess we can now say Apogee One, Duet and Quartet now work with Auria.
Thanks you made my day with this new info. Nice that they charge your iPad now while recording.

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
This actually isn't accurate--some devices require a powered USB hub even if they are powered themselves. This is due to the device's firmware over-reporting the power needs to the iPad, and a powered hub in between the two solves this. In other words, a powered USB hub may still be necessary regar...

Re: Live performance
Thanks for all the replies. I will take your suggestions and use this sparingly to get some experience. I will try this at an open mic this weekend. Seems like a lower risk option to gain some experience. The most useful tool that interest me most is in-ear monitoring through the headphone out (red...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Sorry Drock, I should mention that I am assuming that the tracks are already glued together in the mix but if your starting from say 8 seperate tracks and you want them to be one track with each song blending into the other than you can do this by loading each song into a seperate track and simply l...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
So, this is off topic but I plan to send out each track of my album to a mastering house for the biggest reason of - the songs are being written to seamlessly go into one another (think iTunes 'gapless album') because I just dont think that it'd be possible in auria to set that up. I assume certain...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Hi people Can someone just confirm for me please when recording using a bigger buffer size Does it just effect the latency / cpu and not the quality of the recording Input signal recorded Cheers 8) Hi, no the audio is not affected so the quality remains the same. You just get more latency and that ...
