Re: Parallel Chs... any closer?
Could you just route the bus channels into a subgroup? Sure, eventually I do end up with the parallels summed to a subgroup. Often I have up to 4 additional parallel channels processing something like a kick or snare or bass. I sub these to a bus and use a channel strip to control the volume and po...

Re: Roland UA-22 Duo Capture EX + Auria Pro + MIDI keys
To confirm, the Duo is powered either by internal AA bats or with an AC adapter. It does not pass USB power. The iPad should interface with the Duo via a CCK (camera connection kit). Make sure the rear switch is set to 'Tablet' and you should be good to go. (This is what I use, with an Axiom Air 61 ...

iPad Pro (12.9): GUI Bug on screen rotate
Running latest Auria Pro, iOS 10 (but also on iOS 9) on an 128GB iPad Pro 12.9". When you rotate the iPad in the Mixer or Settings windows, a significant portion of the screen is then cut off, and remains so. You need to toggle the 'iPad Pro Screen Optimizations' in Settings to recover the lost...

Re: Do people stay with the effects delivered with Auria Pro
As stated by others, the 'onboard' Auria effects and all very usable. Personally, I use a Pro-Q2 on virtually every channel, even though I grew up on hardware mixing desks and am quite comfortable using parametric EQs. I find the intuitiveness and scope of the PQ2 much easier when referring back and...

Re: Parallel Chs... any closer?
Hey Anthony, thanks for your reply... yeah, I know I can kinda-sorta do this with the busses, but it still has the anomalous Solo behaviour which just makes it bloody annoying to use properly. Hoping for a more elegant solution. Looking forward to more videos from you though, my friend! Edit: Would ...

Parallel Chs... any closer?
Hey @Rim, just wondering if a simple parallel channel function is close to being worked on? Would love the simplicity that Reason now offers: left-click on a channel strip and select "Create Parallel Channel"... done! Perfect for adding a channel for separate processing the LF content, ano...

Best iPad Pro 12.9 on-screen music keyboard tips?
My iPad Pro 12.9-inch should be here in a couple of days and I'm trying to figure out the best on-screen keyboard to use within AP for entering/playing MIDI synths (both within AP and external apps). I know I've seen some recent talk here between members and Rim on a future keyboard, but what is you...

Thanks @Tovokas, I kinda suspected that. Moving on...Tovokas wrote:Looks to be pre-2.03, though the coverage inside the piano roll editor is pretty brief: only about 3 minutes where the new features would require different coverage.

Re: New Auria Tutorial Videos from lynda.com
Can anyone confirm that these AP tuts are using the latest version (2.03)? With the significant changes Rim made to the editing etc, I'd rather not bother if it is not current.
Cheers!

Audio clip reverse quandary - HELP!!
I imported a wav file into AP and duplicated it, then placed the duplicate on a separate track (further along in the timeline). I want to reverse the copied clip, but when I do so, it also reverses the original on the original track. I've tried duplicating, copy and paste and both end up with the sa...

Re: Your Favourite Auria Feature..Join in for the fun of it
Coming from a background (many, many years ago) of FOH mixing and studio engineering, I'm simply amazed and delighted to have such a comprehensive and sonically rich virtual studio I can tuck under my arm. Specific features beyond that are simply icing!
