Nice school!

I like the new Saffron Saturator effect app. Supports IAA and AudioBus. Dead simple to use. While not as versatile as Saturn it's only $0.99 and is outstanding at that price.

You need a headphone amp for 400 ohm phones. They run from cheap to expensive. Never used one myself so can't recommend. Gave up using my much loved AKG 240k DFs because they're 600 ohm. Just picked up a set of the open back 50 ohm Sennheiser HD598s. Heavenly. For listening and mixing. I'll continue...

There's a freeze verb in Turnado. Also if I were to try to approach that sound I'd try in Flux:Fx. Then realize that my fingers don't have Bill Frizzel's tone.

The C1 needs +48v phantom power. I don't think you can get phantom power from 1/4" jack.

I'll second the AT2020 as an excellent budget mic.

What about playing back a track while manipulating an IAA effect, like Flux:Fx, and recording the output to a new track?

Does the new Auria allow loop markers at the track level instead of just global? That would be useful to me.

I have a 15 year old set of AKG K240 DFs, 600 OHM, that I use for tracking and a newish pair of Sennheiser Amperions, 18 Ohms, for general listening. The Sennheisers sound better but I know the much flatter AKGs so well that they are better for dialing in a sound. I thought I'd read the newer, lower...

No buzzing here. iOS 8.1.1, Air 1, current Auria and SampleTank, IAA.
Is it just Auria and ST? Can you try ST into AudioShare via iaa?

I use this one. It can run as an IAA but why waste the FX slot.
