When solo safe mode is enabled it solos the AUX returns but neglects to solo any channels that have their input as an AUX.
Which means you can't hear the AUX's when you solo a channel.

Re: length of timeline
I like it as it is, playing forever. I prefer it when a computer doesn't try to make 'clever' decisions on my behalf. Apple like to do this and it's sometimes infuriating. Open format is the best

Re: Insert Bars
edit/ripple edit mode is what you want. Make sure you have global set in the settings/edit menu. Check manual for more details.

Re: Mixdown/CPU Frustrations
If you render the Lyra track and then change the buffer to 4096 you'll get a massive CPU boost which will eliminate all the CPU warning messages.
Lyra is CPU heavy in general and the MIDI tracks force the buffer to 512 max. I suspect iSymphonic requires a lot of CPU and ram to play nicely with Auria.

Re: Mixdown/CPU Frustrations
this has nothing to do with the ipad not being a useable professional tool, that a strange conclusion to jump to when it's obviously a bug with either iSymphonic Orchestra app or the IAA protocol implemented in Auria. Have you tried using audiobus instead of IAA? I think it'll mixdown correctly if y...

The new AU plugin integration is Awesome!
Having projects save the state of plugins and being able to use multiple instances makes all the difference
I hope this is the beginning of some of the big names in plugins making the move to iOS, that would be very cool indeed.

Re: Loop while punching in (audio)
Loop record makes tonnes of material to sift through in the editing stage. No loop record brings one of the good points back from the good old days of recording, learning to be judicious.
Maybe for certain types of music genres it would be more useful.

Really looking forward to a time when Audio Units are ubiquitous and the standard for all ipad daws. It's going to open so many doors when all the cool plugin developers put their software onto the ipad.

condense regions has always been iffy so I stopped using it a long time ago. Perhaps the code need to be scrapped and re-written?

Re: Latest update - big problems help urgently please
I wish Auria could force Final Touch to have a buffer of 4096. Currently it's stuck at 256 which greatly reduces the performance of the iPad Pro during the mastering process.
