Cursor jumping to different part of song when recording
I have a really weird and frustrating problem that I have never encountered before: when I try and record a part that is not at the start of a song, I place the cursor on bar 50, but as the count-in starts the cursor jump to bar 101 and then records from there. If I try and record earlier in the son...

Re: iOS 8.3 Released - fixes scrollview CPU issue
I've had the same issue with Drumagog: if you unfreeze a track then Drumagog forgets which sample you were using. It's a bit of a drag

Re: help! auria crashing and can't recover projects
One potential cause for Auria not being able to launch is if you have used an IAA instrument or effect, sometimes you need to launch the IAA app first, then Auria can open the project.

Re: IAA Through the Channel Strip
What you can do is to bake the effects in to the track as you record them: press and hold the record enable button on the track and select "record effects". That means that your guitar, drum machine etc will be recorded as audio, and you can then use the channel strip FX on them.

If it's not in beta yet then I'm guessing it's going to be late spring, or maybe summer

Convolution Reverb improvements
The main thing I am really missing in the convolution reverb effect is some tone shaping, I have most of the add-on packs and the vast majority of IRs are too bright for my taste, but if there was at the very least a low-pass filter in the reverb I would be able to use more of them. So it would be n...

Re: IS ANYONE USING TC HELICON'S VOICE JAM STUDIO?
When I tried to use it as an IAA the UI was scaling weirdly and I had to give up.

Re: CPU
It depends on the plugins really, but you can always freeze the the tracks to free up some resources. Alternatively you can "print" the tracks by soloing them and mixing them down to a new track, and then bypassing the plugins in the originals.

Re: Old Timer vs MicroWarmer vs Pro-L
So this way I'd need to insert MicroWarmer followed by Pro-L on the Master Strip...does the order matter? You might not need both, Microwarmer is a limiter. But if you do use both then I would say yes, the order you use them in is likely to change the sound. Also if you are going to use Microwarmer...

Re: Old Timer vs MicroWarmer vs Pro-L
You don't really need to bounce down for mastering into a separate project, just use the inserts on the Master Strip. It's much simpler if you can keep everything in one project, otherwise you will have to constantly go back-and-forth to adjust things.

Re: Old Timer vs MicroWarmer vs Pro-L
For vocals I think Old Timer is quite a bit smoother sounding than MicroWarmer IMO. Of the two I prefer Old Timer, but that's probably a personal thing and I might well change my mind six months down the line

Re: Major Auria Announcement
as long as you upgrade from Auria to Auria Pro. Slightly concerned about this, since it does imply two separate apps. What will happen to Auria LE for instance? Will that be discontinued? If so, what does that mean for people who have upgraded the LE version to the full version? Will they have an u...

Re: Major Auria Announcement
Thanks! Definite upgrade for me then, and no more Cubasis for MIDI (I might keep it for the built in micrologue synth though, because it's pretty nice). Looking forward to trying out that new Fabfilter synth as well.Rim wrote: you'll be able to use all your existing plugins and other purchases.

Re: Major Auria Announcement
One question: this looks like it's going to be a completely new/separate app - is that so? Because I have a significant amount of plugins for Auria, and I really don't want to have to buy them again.
