Do you want to control different devices with the same note inputs? Otherwise can't see the problem. But anyway in Auria there aren't midi tools such as a midi remapper. For this kind of things I use midibridge but I know there are a few apps doing midi mangling. And I really suggest to get at least...

You gotta set the track output to the effect. That's why instruments work and effect don't.
Actually this a less then ideal workaround since it means you will need separate midi tracks to control each effect in the chain.

For synthesized drums I would recommend SeekBeats for some good sounding, old-new school drums and elastic drums for something more avantgarde, experimental(developed along with mouse on Mars).
