Audiobus question
Hi Rim, I was starting to make a new video tonight, talking about subgroups, and I got into auxes. I was trying to show the audiobus aux bus routing to use an external effect, such as aufx space or audio reverb. I can't seem to monitor the song as it's playing though- the audiobus monitoring mode al...

New mixing videos
I posted the first video of a planned series on mixing in auria as I work on mixing a track we recorded a few years ago. Check it out, please give me feedback, including a better way I can shoot video if you know one! I recorded it with my iPhone using the tascam im2 mic. Also let me know if there's...

Re: Problems with AirPlay
I'm digging up an old thread while you're in the hospital Anthony, so my apologies, but how did you get airplay working with auria? I'm on an iPad Air, so it should work processing wise, brand new project so no plugins running yet. I can get airplay to work into reflector with other apps, including ...

Re: Disk space usage
As I said, I am pretty sure reaper does not convert the files to another format. I will try to confirm that later, I don't use it much to mix since I have been using auria, only for tracking.

Re: Disk space usage
Unless I'm wrong, reaper will play compressed formats (mp3, ogb, flac) without converting. I use wav or aif files, but it is possible. As far as deleting files, it would be helpful to be able to check multiple files then hit delete, rather than swiping each on individually, which your import feature...

Re: Drumagog bonus content
Sorry to sort of hijack, but is there a list somewhere of the samples that are included in the kicks and snares pack in the auria store? The demos of the full packs sound great, but I'd love to know what was selected from the packs.

Re: New Auria update: 1.150
Thanks, that wasn't the issue; it hasn't been working for me. I'll try it again , because it would be strange for it to work on yours and not mine. Maybe I'm not pushing it hard enough, I'll check that. Edit: just checked it, the gain reduction meter is definitely not working, it is pinned on -20 no...

Re: New Auria update: 1.150
Rim, do you know if fxpansion fixed the gain reduction meters on their plugins yet? It still doesn't work as of the last update. Thanks

Re: Record Scratch
Use a DJ app with audiobus or IAA into auria. I'm not sure what DJ app does audiobus, but I'm sure some do. I was playing with traktor the other day and it definitely scratched (not that I did it well!), and DJ rig, which has a free version, scratches as well.

Update now live!
The new update (4/24/14) just hit US AppStore, now I think I can try the newly purchased turnado without the crashes. That will be fun!

Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
Saturn is great and there is not an included option with auria that duplicates it. Saturn can get some really amazing sounds.

Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
Agreed on pro q. I'm also going to answer that if you're a noob (and we ALL are, there's always more to learn) instead if focusing on what extra plugins to buy, focus on learning how and why to use various things. Tons of info onthe net and in person, and even with that, nothing beats just doing it....
