Re: Audiobus approved by apple.

It'll be interesting to see how AudioBus, Auria, and another app deal with CPU. I hope it works. As long as you aren't going crazy with track counts that have heavy plugs, you'll be fine... @instinctive- by pure coincidence I am having to install logic 5.5 on an old laptop to retrieve some old sess...

Re: iOS6 = Multi-Route Audio = Multi Outputs?

Just a thought- why would apple change the dock (which is probable for the iPad as well) with the new iPhone in conjunction with ios6, and have any interest in offering multiple output streams thru a semi supported cck used as a USB iterface for audio gear? As much as I would love to see it, (I have...

Steve-
In addition to what Rim said, double check the input matrix and make sure nothing audio related is running in the background.

Re: Akai EIE

I own the EIE and it works great- but it only passes 16bit/44.1khz
Since all audio is 24 bit in Auria, the app would tack on 8 blank bits. No big deal,
But it's certainly not a serious solution for the discerning engineer.

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.

Apologies Baynes, I'm now experiencing the same thing as you. After a few minutes it gives out and the audio collapses: I'm left with one active channel and weird behaviors in Auria (couldn't get one channel's record ready button to disable). BTW, is your LED red or blue? Foster's is red, mine is b...

Re: USB hub no power or apple cck kit needed, look here.

I haven't received mine yet (it must be on the slow boat), but I do have to say that I'm really digging the dock extender cable I got a while back (dock extender cable -> CCK -> USB cable). That thing is really handy. Yeah the dock extender cable (I've got the cable jive one) is essential for the a...

Re: Love the product - Bluetooth Support Badly needed!!!

Prog- I think what will end up happening is that most would use the Bluetooth functions through consumer systems, achieving marginal result. as for monitoring through a " 50,000$ sound system" I would guess that the distortion in the bluetooth compressed audio would be even more apparent. ...

Re: external control of Auria?

An iPhone app to remote control Auria? But the iPad is already so portable... I'm trying to understand a scenario where you'd need something even more portable as a remote control. Rim LOL.... I swear sometimes that there is a growing population of DAW users who won't be happy until they can produc...

Re: SUPPORT 4 Behringer iX-Range USB Mixers ?

Hmmm.... Looks like it uses the iPad for fx muscle mostly... Not the best use of the iPad. That and no spdif I/O. Gets me wondering too how this "next gen" iPad centric hardware will fare in light of the very real possibility that the dock connector may change to the 19 pin on the next iPa...

Some DAW's have start and end times, too. Seems perfectly reasonable to make it an option.

Re: Auria doesn't stop at the end of the last region

If one were to get busy chopping up regions, and there happens to be a spot where there is no regions, but the song goes on.
That and the pretty good chance that there may be an delay or reverb tail that you may want to hear.

Re: Mbox original

I use the akai EIE. It's only 16 bit, so depending on your needs, it may or may not work for you.

I loved Digidesign since 04 when I got my digi002 and pt 6.4 LE... Still love PT but not enough to shell out $600 for a software upgrade. Stuck on 8.0.5 and don't mind a bit!
