Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Thanks. Actually, some of these already exist in Auria: To link faders (grouping), just click the group icon to the left of the transport. Then touch a few of the faders. You can set up to 8 groups. To move tracks around, go to the editor, and tap and hold on the track bar on the left (anywhere ther...

Re: Known problem with Auria and iOS 6.0 Beta 3?
I just made it compatible with iOS6 today, so that'll be out in the next update.
Thanks,

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
That's right, the subs are single send only (you can't do parallel processing currently).
Good idea, though.

Re: Auria freeze after mixdown or leaving and returning to a
There's got to be something that's even a little different, as Auria should run the same on my iPad as yours. Some things to check: Is the wav file the same sample rate as your project? Does this happen with all wav files, or just that one (maybe there's something wrong with that file)? It's a wav f...

Re: The Working / Not working audio interfaces thread
Unfortunately, the 1818's headphone output is permanently tied to outputs 7&8, and iPads can only output on 1&2. So the only way to monitor an 1818 is by using the iPad's headphone out jack. The second issue, is that the 1818 defaults to a very low volume when plugged into the iPd for the fi...

Re: Bit depth?
Yes, Auria can play a mixture of any bit depths or stereo/mono all in the same project. It just doesn't handle multiple sample rates in the same project (it will do an automatic sample rate conversion if you try to import an audio file at a different sample rate).

Re: Auria freeze after mixdown or leaving and returning to a
It's no problem at all, really ;) I'd really like to get to the bottom of this one, if you don't mind helping. What I meant was that after going through the list I just wrote, the transport works fine. Is there something you do that's different than my list? If so, let me know, so I can experience t...

Re: Auria freeze after mixdown or leaving and returning to a
I'm trying this and it works fine for me. Here's what I'm doing. Please make sure there's nothing different about the way you're doing this: 1. Create a new project - 0 tracks 2. Press the menu button 3. Select Import Audio 4. Choose a mono WAV file, same sample rate as the project (no conversion ne...

Re: Bit depth?
That's correct. If you are trying to AudioCopy a file that's already 16 bits, Auria shouldn't need to do any conversion. Unfortunately, it does, and that's a bug I discovered today. I've already fixed it and updated the bug list. It'll appear in the next update.

Yes, all USB interfaces work the same way in this regard on an iPad, and not just in Auria, but in all iPad music apps. It's a limitation in iOS5.

Re: ProTools AAF import problem
Thanks. On our end I don't think there much we can do if a DAW gives us two mono files. Auria wouldn't know that two particular mono files were supposed to be a stereo file. The only solution is for Pro Tools to output actual stereo files when creating the AAF, and until it does, Auria (and any othe...

Re: Auria freeze after mixdown or leaving and returning to a
That type of freezing most likely isn't related to CPU overload (you'd get a message if that were the case). Whenever you do any kind of operation that takes time (like a mixdown), Auria disables all the other controls and the mixer, so you can't use do anything until that operation is finished. It'...

I may have written the code, but I forgot about that feature Thanks for pointing that out. yes, if you highlight a bunch of control points, you can delete them all at once.

Re: wth?! where are my posts? 1818vsl question
It's a limitation in the iPad itself. With iOS 5, only one audio device can play at a time. I misspoke, as I tried it on an iPad that wasn't running iOS5.
I am under NDA, so I can't talk about what iOS6 will be able to do, but Auria will fully support all it's great capabilities.

Re: Bit depth?
Auria records everything at 24 bits.
Audio Copy/paste is a standard by Sonoma Wireworks, and it only supports 16 bit files. So if You use Audio Copy/Paste, anything that's not already at 16 bits needs to be converted.
