Re: which plugin has stereo spread?
damn. such nice clarity. sounds a little bit like jack nicholson :p Thanks! do you recommend i copy and paste WITH filters and effects (eq and comp.) or do i do it all in auria? Personally, unless a filter or effect is an integral part of the sound, I've been trying to zero things out and do everyt...

Re: which plugin has stereo spread?
awesome, thanks. has anyone used this on their songs? i wonder how well auria does this :p I've been re-mixing my NanoStudio (and some Reason) projects with Auria, and I have to say that you can get some really beautiful mixes. Mixes with plenty of space (often just using EQ & Panning), to whic...

Re: which plugin has stereo spread?
Of the built-in effects, both the Stereo Delay and Stereo Chorus will work. Optionally, Timeless2 also has some great delay settings that expand the stereo spread of a signal.

Yes, yes, yes! This is such a key function for arranging, Auria should already have this!CEIsar wrote:A mute function for selected regions would be a very (VERY) welcome addition

Re: new comer here! have some questions!
can i back up files to my mac? do they save as is (with effects and filters and etc etc)? The easiest way to backup or do any file transferring to-and-from the Mac is using iFunBox, which (through a USB sync), allows you to see the iPad's internal files. The Auria App stores all the project info in...

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
What plugins etc would you recommend for mixing mainly vocals? is there a good reverb with lots of presets? (ie for someone who doesn't know what all the dials do) i'm probably going to grab a copy of Pro-Q FabFilter tonight any other suggestions for using inbuilt controls or extra plugins would be...

Re: Are there no presets with JamUp?!?
Appreciate the reply, Rim.
I'd also mention to them that they need to greatly expand the description of the app in the Auria manual... it's astonishingly inadequate. Specifically, it should include the fact that there are NO presets.

Are there no presets with JamUp?!?
I just started to use this in-app purchase and I'm a little non-plussed to find it has absolutely no presets! Nothing to get you started on whatsoever. Unless I'm missing something here? I've tried re-loading the applet, resetting the iPad (V4, 128GB), and deleting and reloading Auria. All I see in ...

Re: Off topic - Noise Reduction for iOS?
I'm finding that judicious notching with FabFilter Pro-Q works quite well, but it will obviously depend upon the type of noise you have to contend with.

Manual for Auria 1.06 is nice, but...
Gents, if I might make a suggestion, PLEASE include the great "Closer Look" features from your blog into the manual at the appropriate places, or as an addendum at the very least. This material really should be all in one place.

Rim, just so we all know, what is the downside (Auria specific) for being jailbroken?Rim wrote:Is your iPad Jailbroken?
Rim
(Personally, I happily use my iPad 1 JB, especially to have quick access via SB Settings to kill all background app and processes.)

Re: Auria 1.05 Won't Launch
If you're on the Mac, then iFunBox is the BEST filer to use. It makes transfers to and from the iDevice painless and super fast. Highly recommended.
