Insert vs Aux

I think I understand the difference between the two, but I'm using inserts exclusively. If I route signals to a sub, I can still modify faders and pans, so when and why would I use Aux?

Thanks.

Re: Multiple takes

That's what I thought.

It would be helpful to have the takes auto mute so that we could set up a record loop and just keep recording.

Thanks.

Multiple takes

What's the best way to record multiple takes on a single track, (say for a guitar solo), keep them all, and find the best one? I know each take is given a unique name, but how do I select the takes that are "under" the last one recorded? And, can I toggle between them quickly during playba...

Re: Mobile Pre

Last one.... I can't recreate the issue. My guess is that I had auto-looping on (or something). My project is up to 24 tracks, with no cut off issues (although I have had the occasional overflow issues which always go away after a reboot). Mobile Pre update: Front inputs (both line and mic - individ...

Re: Knob and Slider sensitivity

CEIsar,

This is especially problematic with small sliders like in Drumagog. I've given up trying to get 50 on Dynamic. :?

Re: Knob and Slider sensitivity

I thought of the "wider circle - greater resolution" relationship, but didn't think to try it yet. Thanks! That should do the trick for most situations.

Re: Knob and Slider sensitivity

I will try that. Thanks!

Another method to consider would be to have the parameter freeze on a number if the dial is not moved for a period of time (1-2sec), to allow the finger to come off without changing the frozen number.

Knob and Slider sensitivity

I am finding that when I try to lift my finger after adjusting a knob or slider, the value does a quick final jump to something else. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm thinking that a two finger method may work here. It would go like this: One finger to choose your value, then when you have it, drop ...

Re: Plugins forget parameters upon exit

Aha!

If I try to re open by clicking on the plugin name, and then choosing Drumagog, everything is reset.
BUT, if I click on "e" , all of my settings stay.

Is that the trick?

Plugins forget parameters upon exit

Has this been addressed?

After tweaking the parameters in Drumagog, and then exiting back to the Mix window, and then going back to the plugin, all of my tweaks are lost and I'm back to square one.

Just wondering.

Re: Track timing off after using Drumagog

Late to the party, as usual.

OK, I will stop banging my head against the wall and wait for the update.

THANKS!

Re: Track timing off after using Drumagog

Basically, every frozen gog track is lagging behind in audio only. The waveform is still in sync. BUT it only occurs after closing and opening Auria. Reloading project does not resolve the problem.

HELP!

Re: Track timing off after using Drumagog

Carefull inspection of the waveform shows the timing issue to be sound only. In other words, the waveform is not time shifted, but the audio is not in sync with the waveform. It is lagging behind.
