Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
Yes. If you make your peaks around -18 you're in good shape. No need to slam the input. You can always add gain later in the stage, but you'll be boosting a cleaner signal that will remain clean. Trying to undo noise is pretty tough. Ask me how I know that!;-) still make my share of mistakes but eac...

Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
What peak level are you reaching by doing that? Gating only reduces hiss while you're not putting anything into the mic, it will still be part of your signal otherwise.

Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
I think Saturn is a great plugin, it doesn't duplicate anything that's already in auria and sounds fantastic. If I didn't have other compressor plugs I'd probably get pro c but I decided against it for now. As far as taming mic hiss, better to address that at the source, do you know why your mic is ...

Re: How do I disable the kitchen option in Auria?
If you could find a way to have auria clean my kitchen I'd pay at least $5 for that option.

Re: SKnote plugins!
I love those, on te rare occasion I work on music on my Mac I have stripbus and round tone and they are excellent. I'll send him an email too. A "tape" plugin would be nice in auria.

Re: SugarBytes sale?
I narrowed it down as far as adding effects- it's the pattern delay that immediately crashes it. The others seem to be ok right now. Looking forward to that update then, this plugin is pretty unique. I bought it mainly for the reverb and delays, so it will be cool when I can get the pattern delay to...

Re: SugarBytes sale?
I just bought turnado and it is crashing auria consistently. Anytime I try to change an effect on a pad or try a new preset it immediately crashes. Any ideas as to why? 64 gb Ipad Air, os 7.1, and it happened on several different projects I tried. Thanks.

Re: Fabfilter plugins: 40% off sale until April 24th
As I look at the sale, I realize I don't need any of them that I don't have, but for the person who recommended pro-q, I highly recommend that. If you only bought one optional plugin, sale or not, that's the one I'd say is pretty essential. The built in eq is good at what it does, but pro-q really s...

Re: Using Auria live
I believe with ab2 now it does, your whole setup should save as is. I can try it and find out, though not until later tonight.

Another option, using your mbp, is main stage, which is built exactly for what you're trying to do.

Re: Using Auria live
I use my iPad live on every gig (on break now) and have never come close to running out of battery. My gigs are typically 4-5 hours. That being said, the apogee interfaces will charge your iPad.

Re: FR - route subgroups to other subgroups
I have no idea about anything in code, but two different daws have interesting ways. In reaper, a bus is a bus, anything can route anywhere. In mixbus, there's 8 aux buses and on each channel there are 8 sends. Full up would be like you have now, but you could send to all 8 at once, less than full u...

Re: Recording Mulitple AudioBus 2 channels
Yes, each track is different. It's possible 7.0.4 is the problem, don't wait to update to 7.1, no problems with it here.
