Thanks Anthony. I considered that but, fwiw, Cubasis doesn't sleep like this...and I'd rather not have to juggle the settings back and forth. I'm kinda hoping that I can make Auria override the sleep timer too.

iPad 4 goes to sleep
Hi,
I am using an iPad 4 on IOS 7.04 and a Griffin StudioConnect. For some reason, the iPad goes to sleep when idle. Is there a way to make it stay awake while docked with Auria open?
Thanks in advance,
G

Re: Griffin StudioConnect question
Hi, I believe that the StudioConnect is a 2in-2out interface so, even though Auria shows 4x outputs, you probably couldn't do this in stereo. However, you might be able to do it in mono. It looks like you may be able to change two sub-groups to mono and set them left and right, then send the backing...

I'm interested if PositiveGrid will allow us to have the Auria in-app version if we own the full version too...

Also...not to cross the Auria guys, since it's in a class of its own, but if you happen to use Cubasis and find that it is dropping some MIDI notes, connect both MIDI in and out to the StudioConnect, and then enable "Send MIDI clock" in the Cubasis setup.
Ok, no more talk of SB!

I agree! By the way, if someone is thinking about the Lightning version, here's one at a discount:

Re: Griffin StudioConnect (30-pin) and iPad 4 w/adapter
Ok, I ordered a Studio Connect 30-pin version, and it works perfectly with the Apple brand 30-pin to Lightning adapter cable. I got the cable because it fits without removing the iPad 4 from its smart case, and so that I can use it with the 30-pin audio cable in my car too. I can finally lay down tr...

Griffin StudioConnect (30-pin) and iPad 4 w/adapter - WORKS!
Happy Thanksgiving!! Is anyone out there using the Griffin StudioConnect (older) 30-pin version with a 30-pin to lightning adapter on their iPad 4? If so, can you provide any guidance on how it's working for you?
Thanks in advance,
G
