Re: Metronome
Hmm... I used to have an AmpKit LiNK, and it did a pretty good job of reducing the crosstalk. Maybe it needs batteries?

Re: Metronome
Are you using an iRig or another interface that connects through the headphone jack? Lots of bleed/crosstalk with those.

I know; I was just mentioning it in case they were somehow related. Probably should have been more specific.

Re: Mono Track changes to Stereo Mystery
It happened to me while tracking. Nothing imported. I thought it had something to do with the MicroWarmer and freezing but haven't been able to duplicate. I was tracking guitars with the THM plugin and an Apogee Jam.

Re: Anyone tried the Tascam iu2?
Thats great advice, thanks. Just a couple of things: does the focusrite 2i2 and itrack solo work ok with the electric guitar amps in garageband? Also i cant see anywhere on the focusrite website that the 2i2 works with the ipad. Im sure it does but just dont want to have to buy another bad interfac...

Re: Anyone tried the Tascam iu2?
I passed on the iu2 and wound up buying a Focusrite 2i2, which works great with condenser and dynamic mics and electric guitars inside Auria. I also have an Apogee Jam that I use for electric guitars in stand alone apps. I've gotten some great electric guitar sounds with the THM plugin and the 2i2 i...

Re: Connecting to a Focusrite 2i2
I'm using this hub with the 2i2 and an iPad 2; it's working fine:
Belkin usb 2.0 4-port hub white, it's about $14 from Amazon USA.
I don't know anything about A or B, but I think USB 2.0 is important.
Did you plug the hub into an outlet? It has to be plugged in.
Hope this helps.

Re: THM plugin
Are there significant differences between the two? Are they each better, in some respects, than the other or is one much better overall? Or is it simply a matter of personal taste? JamUp is a great sounding guitar app. It's my favorite, and it's very easy to use. I find the THM screen real estate t...

Open in AudioShare
Rim,
I know there are many of us using AudioShare. It's a very useful app for managing audio files. I, for one, would appreciate this feature. Here is the link for the AudioShare SDK:

Re: New Hollywood drum loops issue
I checked with Hollywood Loops and they said the samples are not actually clipping - they are just recorded very hot. Have you tried turning down the track to avoid the clipping? As far the the tempo, I've asked them to comment directly. Possibly there's an issue with one of the loops, which they c...

Re: Great Drum loops for use in Auria
Just another update regarding Drumbeats+. The developer will be releasing a seperate app especially for iOS recording. I wasn't given an ETA. If you're looking for more functionality from a drum loop app, I'd wait for the new app to be released. It will be called DrumBeats+ Live.
