working with IAA
Applies to iPad 2-4: there are some tips how you can get a good performance without problems, or at least with less problems: - before starting a session, shut down all apps. - run Auria first. - set the record buffer according to your iPad CPU. - optional: set the mixer to 32-bit. - load one app, r...

Re: IAA Apps
yes. Nothing special from my part. I have only iSEM, Nave, and Magellan. All of them work well in Auria. Magellan has the timecode remaining at 0:00 during recording, but for playback the timecode is working.

Re: Numerous bug on 1.130 :(
I'm not sure, but I think I remember I had to wait a moment (maybe 10 or 20 seconds) until an IAA synth had a signal. Maybe this is the case for IAA effects too?

Re: Numerous bug on 1.130 :(
I did exactly that in my first test this morning. Recording 3 different IAA synths, one after the other, was without any problem. iPad4, 256 rec buffer, 32-bit mixer.Rim wrote:After you finish recording, make sure you remove the IAA plugin from the list before you take the track out of record enable.

Re: Auria 1.130 Available
indeed very nice. I like the timecode display in iSEM and Nave. In Magellan it appeared, but didn't run. Creating a new project did not load the insert app from the last project (Magellan). But this will be a thing of the past after the next update I guess. After hundrets of posts in those message b...

Re: Auria1.13?
patience, my friend, patience. Testing new features takes time, and I suppose we're all human, with a private life. I'd like to test IAA as well, and I'm sure in a week or two we'll be using that all. And we can already sync apps (manually with the same BPM's, or with MIDI clock) and import audio in...

Re: How's the new IOS 7 goin with all your music apps?
thank you martygras, that's a new trick. I sometimes had to do a similar thing with iPad4/iOS6 (reset network settings and re-enter all IP's and passwords for every wifi network). I need to have static IP's on my iPads, and maybe it has something to do with the subnet mask (255.255.255.0 or 255.255....

Re: How's the new IOS 7 goin with all your music apps?
I had no problems with Auria projects, recording into Auria, and using several synth apps. I'm going to update all my iPads to iOS7 today. This is my personal experience. Please follow the advices from Rim and other developers before updating to iOS7! Edit: found a problem with my local wifi that is...

Re: Mackie Control Universal Issue
I believe Auria must see the ports of the original controller (or Mackie emulation) to work bi-directionally. If those controllers are seen (and connected) via an audio interface USB input or via wireless, there's only limited functionality (one way). For example, with Apogee Dual2 attached, Auria s...

Re: Mackie Control Universal Issue
confirmed, a directly connected BCF2000 works bi-directionally as a remote controller. Via Apogee Duet2 or Bonjour wifi (rtpMIDI) it works only in one direction (Auria to controller).

Re: Babyface + Auria: Phantom Power Problem
many, if not most interfaces need a power supply for phantom power. Especially when they are attached to iPad USB.

Re: Compatable Sequencers
in that case I suggest to use Loopy (if you have it) for these recordings. I think it's better suited for loop/pattern-based recordings. I'm pretty sure this will work. And then transfer each recorded track to Auria. Good luck!

Re: How to get a real deep reverb out of Aurias plug ins?
Have you listened to the samples? to be honest, no. But if it's a special reverb effect with modulation, it may be the case that you have to use special software for this which I don't know, or re-record reverb tails several times. By the way, you can create your own IR's with the resulting effect,...
